Please give a great big bienvenue to our newest Frenchie boy, Toussaint! This handsome lad had a rough go of it this past month, but he’s now well on his way to his ultimate destination—a forever home of his very own.

Toussaint was discovered hiding in a ditch on the side of a Florida road. We can’t even begin to guess how he ended up there, but his hard luck took a turn for the better when he was picked up by the local animal shelter. The shelter turned Toussaint over to FBRN, and we couldn’t have been happier to take him in.

Two-year-old Toussaint is now safe and sound in a loving foster home, with a cozy bed, nutritious meals, and toys-a-plenty—not to mention all the pets and cuddles a little dog could ever want. Foster mom reports that Toussaint is both high energy and attention starved, so she’s certainly got her hands full. Fortunately, they’re full of the cutest little brindle boy you ever did see. Just look at those bright eyes and that toothy Frenchie smile! And don’t get us started on that little white chest patch—it’s just begging for some scritchy-scratches. Comme il est mignon!

So far, Toussaint has gotten both a neuter and a clean bill of health from the vet. Woohoo! The next step will be getting him settled and teaching him some manners, so he can be a happy, secure little dog before making his way to the Available Page.
