Introducing Grian! This adorable 9-year-old cream puff was tearfully surrendered to the care of FBRN when her family fell on hard times and was unable to support her financially.

Grian (whose name means “sun”) is slowly settling in to the country life in her foster home and is fascinated by the sounds of horses and cows around her. Grian previously lived with another dog and initially displayed a fair amount of anxiety when she arrived in her foster home. Foster mom thought she appeared to be searching for company, so she sped-up the typically slow introductions to the resident dog. It just so happens the resident dog is also an older Frenchie and he and Grian hit it off right away. This little old couple has become fast friends and they are spending a significant amount of time snuggled up together!

Grian will soon visit the vet for her official intake examination. She appears to be healthy other than having a few extra pounds to shed (don’t we all?!). It’s nothing that a few laps around the farm won’t cure! We’re sure that Grian will be in tip-top shape in no time and ready to hit the available page.

If you would like to sponsor this beautiful girl and offer a note of encouragement or a contribution towards her vet bill please click on the link above. Grian thanks you from the bottom of her heart.
