In Memory of Aylisch
We lost a sweet and kind soul this week after a more-than-year-long battle with an aggressive cancer. Dubbed “Sweet Aylisch” by all who met her, she never knew a stranger. She was a great travel companion and loved to be on the go, no matter the destination. Aylisch was a willing participant (mostly) in our costume hijinks. She was the ultimate velcro Frenchie that needed to be by your side at all times (especially snack time).
Aylich traveled to the mountains of Western North Carolina and to the hills of West Vriginia enough to earn the title of “Hillbilly.” There was nothing better to her than a ride in the back seat with her mom and fur siblings. You could always count on Aylisch to know when road treats were being handed out.
Aylisch came to us from a regional rescue situation out of Florida. She was a small girl that was rescued after being sold in a pet store and then was to be used as a breeder. She was such a gentle soul and full of love for all that met her. She will be dearly missed along with her sister Ida.
