Click on the photo for more info on each Available Dog. All dogs are spayed or neutered. Read each bio very carefully, as not every rescue Frenchie is suited to every home. If you feel that a certain Frenchie is a good match for you and your lifestyle, then apply for them through our ONLINE APPLICATION, by clicking on the “APPLY FOR ME” link on their page. Our adoption fees offset only a portion of the veterinary expenses for the dogs in FBRN. As these costs rise we have had to increase the adoption fees as one measure to try to keep up with expenses. Our Available Dogs page is updated weekly, so check back often!
The Applications Under Review on a dog’s photo means that we are no longer accepting new applications for that dog. We are currently reviewing the applications that the dog has already received. Please do not attempt to apply for a dog with a Applications Under Review.
Once we receive 20 applications for a Frenchie, we stop collecting applications for that dog, so if you see a great fit for your family in the week’s “Sneak Peek” list, please watch for the next weekly update for her available picture so you don’t miss out! Now, as you can imagine, we get 20 applications for healthy young dogs quite quickly, and that is why, in the interests of fairness to people who work or otherwise can’t submit an application as soon as the available page is visible, every dog stays up a minimum of 24 hours, even if that means taking more than 20 applications for the dog.
As a housekeeping note, during the time the website is being updated, you may see “your” dog’s available page on the site, but you might not see his name on the dropdown menu for applications. Please be patient–once the website’s pages are updated, the drop down menu should show every dog’s name, unless the dog has a Applications Under Review. If the dog has a Applications Under Review and you don’t see the dog’s name on the drop down menu, it’s because we are in the process of reviewing applications; please don’t try to hack the application process.
Please note: a $20 Non-Refundable Application Fee is required. Your application will not be processed without the fee. This fee helps to offset a small portion of our rescue’s expenses.

Remember, we do adopt to applicants in the continental US and Canada, so if a dog is at a distance from you, don’t be afraid to apply; many adopters have made road trips and even flown to fetch the Frenchie of their dreams.
Fees have recently risen. You may see some dogs of the same age have different fees. We elected not to raise the fees on dogs that were posted before the increase. Our fees can be found on the Adoption Info page.

Looking for your perfect Frenchie match? Browse our available dogs below — click on each photo to learn more about their personality, needs, and what kind of home will be the best fit. Every dog has been spayed or neutered and is ready for a loving forever home.
Please read each bio carefully! Not every rescue Frenchie will be the right match for every household. If you find a pup who feels like “the one,” you can apply directly through the “APPLY FOR ME” link on their page.
Sneak Peek: Get a Head Start
Keep an eye on our Sneak Peek list — it’s your preview of dogs who will be available in the next weekly update. If you spot a great match, be ready to apply once they officially go live. Dogs in the Sneak Peek section are not yet accepting applications, but you can learn about them in advance and prepare accordingly.
Available Page and Application Timing
- Our Available Dogs page is updated every week — usually the same day each week — so check back regularly especially if you’re hoping to adopt a healthy young dog as they often receive a high volume of applications quickly.
- Once a dog receives 20 applications, we stop accepting new ones.
- Dogs remain listed for a minimum of 24 hours, even if they hit 20 applications quickly. This ensures fairness for everyone, even if you’re not online right when the page updates.
- Dogs marked with an “Applications Under Review” banner are no longer accepting new applications. Please respect this process and do not attempt to apply for these dogs.
- The application form may temporarily not list a dog’s name while the site updates — please be patient! If the dog is under review, they’ll be removed from the drop down shortly.
How to Apply
- Submit your application by clicking the “APPLY FOR ME” link on the dog’s profile page.
- A $20 non-refundable application fee is required to submit your submission. Applications without payment will not be processed. This small fee covers part of our rescue’s operating expenses.
- If the dog’s name doesn’t appear in the drop down menu during the update period, please wait. The site may still be updating, especially if the dog has just gone under review.
Please don’t attempt to “work around” the drop down — if a dog is under review, applications are closed.
Long distance? No problem!
We accept applications from the continental U.S. and Canada. Don’t worry if a dog is far from you — many adopters have taken road trips or flights to bring home their new Frenchie.
Application Standards
The well-being and safety of our dogs come first. Applications may be declined if:
- There are unsecured pools, water features, doggy doors, or other hazards without clear safety measures.
- There are unaltered pets in the home, or other unresolved issues not addressed in your application.
Please be honest and thorough — we want the best for both you and the dog.
Adoption Fees
Our adoption fees cover only a part of each dog’s medical expenses. As veterinary costs continue to rise, we have adjusted our fees to help ensure we can continue providing essential care. You may see some dogs of the same age have different fees. We have decided not to raise the fees on dogs that were posted before the increase took effect.
