Our very own soft and pillowy Baguette has made her way to the available page and she’s ready for her forever family! Baguette was found as a stray in Southern Florida and it was clear that she’d had puppies in her past. But beautiful Baguette is only looking forward and we can’t wait to see her settled into her forever home and living the life of luxury. Baguette settled into her foster home quite nicely. She enjoys the resident cat and loves to play with the resident Frenchie. Her favorite toys are marrow bones from the butcher! She also has a naughty obsession with shoes; foster mom recommends that her forever home be equipped with good shoe storage to keep everyone’s shoes safe from Baguette!

Under FBRN’s care, Baguette has had her medical concerns addressed and her forever family should be dedicated to maintaining her progress. She has several allergies resulting in yeasty ears, so Baguette must remain on regular Cytopoint shots and have her ears cleaned regularly. In late May, Baguette had eye surgery and requires daily eye drops.

Despite her medical history, Baguette has remained a total sweetheart. She is very gentle and loves all people big and small. She just wants to be near her person and be loved and sratched! Baguette is still working on potty training and is known to have accidents in the house. Her forever family should have plenty of patience, especially as Baguette settles into a new environment, and will need to continue to work with her on potty training.

Baguette’s ideal family would have plenty of humans around to love on her and a fur-sibling to play with. A fenced yard is preferred to keep Baguette safe while she soaks up the sun (a favorite activity!). Baguette would do well in an office environment as long as she has access to a cozy bed and regular bathroom breaks.

Baguette’s foster mom has this to say of her, “This sweet, loving foster dog is sure to bring joy into any home. She is a small size French Bulldog with a soft, coat of fur that is sure to keep you warm when she snuggles with you. She loves to cuddle and will often come up to you for a pet. She is very gentle and loves to play with toys. She loves to learn new things. She is great with other animals and loves to spend time outside in the sun. Her sweet, loving nature will make her a wonderful addition to any family”.

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
