It’s not every day that you hear of an Eagles fanatic turned Steelers fan, but that’s exactly what happened when Safira was brought into FBRN after her previous owners could not devote the time and attention a puppy requires.

Safira is practically perfect in every way. Her foster mom says she “is the easiest puppy we’ve ever cared for. She’s incredibly sweet, listens to commands, and is happy to entertain herself or play with the household dog pack.” Did we mention she loves kids? Every afternoon, Safira is treated to a walk by the neighborhood kids, followed by play time in a fenced backyard. She loves them as much as they love her!

While Safira sure does have puppy energy, she is perfectly content going into her crate for daily naps and to sleep through the night. She is mostly housebroken, but as all puppies, she does best keeping to regularly scheduled potty breaks. Due to this fact, Safira would love it if her forever family either works from home, or has a pet sitter to come over and keep her potty and walk schedules on track.

Safira LOVES toys and always has an array of plushies and hard chew toys available. She also has a wonderful sense of adventure as she does great on any type of car ride, and loves to romp around a small, shallow creek in her foster family’s backyard and chase frogs.

Safira’s foster mom also wants to make sure she shared this about just how incredible and perfect Safira is: “There is so, so much to love about little Safira… Overall, she’s a healthy, happy-go-lucky little lady. Each night, she climbs on my lap to give kisses and I ask her to tell me all of her puppy secrets. In no particular order, she mentions how much she loves breakfast and dinner time and treats in between. She loves playing with her fur brother and sister, and doesn’t mind at all when they remind her if she’s being a bit too puppy… Most of all, she just loves to be loved! If you are looking for a bundle of love with the kindest soul, Safira is for you!”

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
