“‘Maximus, Max, Naughty puppy, Nooooo!’ You have definitely kept us on our toes during your time here. Your puppy energy and crazy antics have brought moments of absolute chaos into our house but your sweet snuggles, contagious smile, and love for life have made all of us fall in love with you. We hope that you will have a home with a fellow Frenchie to play with and people who will be patient with you because you are still just a baby and learning all of life’s lessons. Maximus, you truly are 100% Frenchie! You are goofy, lovable, handsome and stubborn when you want to be. Your new family is going to love seeing your super happy tail wags, giving you all the belly rubs you want and kissing the deep wrinkles on your head as much as we do. We are going to miss you Maximus that is for sure, but we are all super excited for your next chapter.”

Story
Puppy, puppy read all about it! Maximus proved to be too much puppy for his former family who just didn’t have enough time for his magnificent exuberance. FBRN accepted him with open arms and he’s now ready to find the perfect family after spending some time with a fabulous foster family.
Now 10 months old, Maximus is still 100% puppy perfection. While his favorite pastime is playtime, he does nap as long as it’s near you on a couch or a bed. He is an equal opportunity toy connoisseur. Whether it’s playing fetch, chewing bones, engaging in tug of war or running around with stuffies, whatever he’s doing in the moment is his favorite. And like many puppies, but especially Frenchie puppies, he is always up for a little mischief. A fenced yard is preferred because he’s mastering the art of zoomies and enjoys feeling the wind in his fur.
Maximus would absolutely love a canine playmate, or two, with the same energy level and stamina. He also does well with cats and people of all ages! That’s the great thing about puppies: you can teach them all the good things from the start, but you do need to be prepared to put in some effort. Potty training has improved while in foster and he was recently neutered, but it is still a work in progress so do not expect perfection. He also had recent surgery to correct his bilateral cherry eyes, which was half successful. Even though one cherry eye returned, he is still handsome as ever!
Maximus is a velcro dog. He’s glue and you’re glue so be prepared for a shadow. He wants to be with his people when he’s not playing with his puppy friends. Whether it’s making sure you’re safe in the bathroom, supervising while you prepare dinner or Netflixing and chilling, he’ll be there every step of the way. He can be left home alone if you have to go to work but should not be left for too long so a midday break or dog walker would be best. If you can bring him along to the office, that would be even better! He would need some orientation on proper workplace etiquette, but his foster family thinks he would be a fine addition to the roster and great for employee morale.
Puppies can really make an impact on a family and Maximus’ foster family is no different having this to say to about him, “‘Maximus, Max, Naughty puppy, Nooooo!’ You have definitely kept us on our toes during your time here. Your puppy energy and crazy antics have brought moments of absolute chaos into our house but your sweet snuggles, contagious smile, and love for life have made all of us fall in love with you. If you are ready to take on the exuberance de Maximus, send in your application. Remember, dogs will be listed for at least 24 hours before the 20-application limit is enforced so make your application memorable and tell us why you’d be the best match for this busy little bee. Since he is little bit tall for a Frenchie, Maximus probably wouldn’t be comfortable flying in-cabin on a plane so, if chosen, plan on driving to the Valley of the Sun to pick up your new puppy!
