Wolfgang’s story begins on the side of the road, where this 22-pound handsome fellow was found abandoned in a broken crate. But don’t shed too many tears for him—it might just have been the best thing that ever happened to this spunky little guy! Now safe and sound in foster care, Wolfgang is thriving and ready to charm the socks (and shoes, and remote controls) off his forever family.

Wolfgang was born with a malformed spine, which affect his back legs. When he arrived, his rear toenails were worn to the quick, but thanks to some TLC, his nails have grown out beautifully. To keep his paws happy, he sports his snazzy booties on walks. Speaking of walks, Wolfgang absolutely loves them, especially with his stylish accessories! This little guy does have some urinary control issues and wears a male wrap indoors, but his foster family has him on a great routine, and he’s a trooper about it.

Wolfgang is a social butterfly who adores other dogs and people. And his quirky personality? It’s unmatched. Missing a shoe, sock, dish towel, or TV remote? No need to panic—just check Wolfgang’s bed! He’s a collector, not a chewer, so your treasures will be intact (if a little furrier).

While in foster care, Wolfgang will start physical therapy to strengthen his hind legs and gait. He will also need to be neutered before he makes his grand debut on the available page.
