What better name for a sweet doe-eyed Frenchie with expert level eyeliner than Amélie? Estimated at just over a year, this petite 15-pound princess was transferred to FBRN from an animal shelter where she was brought in as a stray. She was quickly whisked to surgery for a prolapsed rectum and spay surgery and is now recovering in a loving foster home.

Delightful Amélie has already shown a knack for finding joy in the little things and loves to spread happiness around her. Although she is still recovering, she is eager to cuddle, shower you with kisses and receive all the love she can get! She’s got quite the charming personality and will cry, just a little, to grab your attention. And who could resist that face? Resident dog intros have been necessarily slow given her recovery but she is very curious and has been trying to find ways to meet them.
