“Franklin has been a pure joy to foster and we will miss his infectious personality when he gets adopted. He is the perfect combination of pure puppy mischief and absolute love bug. He greets everyday with enthusiasm and excitement. There is not a treat or toy that he has not loved and meal time is just the best. Franklin runs to his spot for meals and wiggles as patiently as he can for you to set it down. His new family should be prepared for all of the toe nibbles and puppy kisses. He is just always so happy that, even while you are preparing his food, he will sneak in a few toe kisses just to say thank you. We love this boy so much and cannot wait for his new family to love him as much as we do. His new family will truly hit the Frenchie lottery when they get to adopt this boy!”

Story
At only 6 months old, Franklin and his pure puppy power could practically write his own bio, but there are some things his adopter needs to know. He LOVES food. If he knew how to type, he’d probably create a social media account and post videos of his food-eating prowess. His ability to inhale food at breakneck speed requires him to eat from a slow feeder during mealtimes. He has nonstop energy so would love a canine playmate who can keep up. He’s a little nervous around larger dogs but a like-size pup with energizer-bunny stamina could be a great match. He also lives harmoniously with two feline foster siblings. The kitten and he play chase, cuddle and even enjoy a grooming session. Maybe videos of that would be better content for his followers!
While Franklin hasn’t lived with kids, he has been polite with the ones he has met in public. Just keep in mind he is already a pretty big boy at 26 pounds and is very vivacious. He can be a little naughty if not given enough attention but really, what puppy isn’t? And he quickly makes up for any mischief by giving you the best puppy kisses. Potty training is a work in progress but he’s almost there!
If you’ve read enough FBRN bios, you know fosters are always asked to list their pup’s favorite things and Franklin’s answered: “life.” He loves everything and everyone. He has not met a toy he didn’t love to play with and adores all things water. He lights up for the hose, thinks sprinklers are the best and would join you in the shower, if allowed.
While Franklin has no known health issues, he does have hardware in his elbow. If the screws were ever to cause any issues down the line, his family should be financially prepared for that. He has also had the luxury of both foster parents being home most of the time so he does get a little anxious when left alone but having a buddy helps him feel less lonely. He would love to be your copilot in everything you do. He would thrive in a house or an apartment as long as he has you.
Franklin’s foster family are his biggest fans saying, “Franklin has been a pure joy to foster and we will miss his infectious personality when he gets adopted. Applications are capped at 20 per dog and we have a feeling they’ll be coming in faster than Franklin eats his breakfast! He’s too big to fly so make sure your auto A/C is in tip-top shape for a road trip to sunny Arizona.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
