Diva will be singing a joyful tune now that she has joined her work-from-home mom and her giant canine brother. She is ready to be spoiled to bits!
Handsome guy Cezanne has a big smile on his face and justifiably so. He just landed himself a great home with everything he was looking for. His new mom and dad work from home so he will never be lonely; there is great half acre fenced yard for running and playing; and very best of all, there are two human children of his very own. The kids are just the right age to become his best friends and he is looking forward to going to classes with them to help build their bond.
Gladys needed a home where she was the only dog, but that doesn’t mean she’s only allowed one person. Lucky for her, she’ll be coming home to a new mom with a flexible schedule, plus a bonus auntie as her roommate! Gladys should be a pretty easy keeper with her laid-back disposition and sense of fun, and though her human has never been owned by a Frenchie before, she has done her homework to learn their ways so she can monitor her allergies. And in a twist of fate, mom has struggled with ear infections too, so ear health should be something that they both can commiserate on. Gladys has found herself in an ideal situation for a distinguished old lady–twice as much love to get and give!
We’re thrilled to report that Inca found her forever home at last! It took time in foster care to get to the bottom of Inca’s gastro issues. Her health and behavior have greatly improved and her new forever family is a perfect match! Inca’s mom works from home and has experience with brachycephalic breeds, specialty care, and also with dogs who have “special” behaviors. Inca’s new fur-sister has bursts of energy where she enjoys a playmate, but for the most part she is a follower. This is a great fit for Inca who prefers to be the leader! Best wishes to the whole family, and special congratulations to Inca who clearly understands that good things are worth the wait!
Pendleton is one lucky Frenchie! His new family read his bio and instantly saw him as version 2.0 of their resident Frenchie, Mamba. They enjoy the spunk and character of higher energy dogs! As an active household who operates on consistent rules and boundaries, this was an easy fit. Plus, there’s the added bonus of a fenced back yard and another active Frenchie for Pendleton to emulate and pal around with. The fact that this family has trainer ready and waiting who they have used successfully in the past is all the more reason we see this as a great fit. Congrats to Pendleton and his new forever family!
Have you ever waited so long for something you thought it would never come? Guess who doesn’t have to wait anymore – Shiner! He had been available for 6 months with virtually no interest due to his age, intolerance of small children, reactivity toward other dogs, and separation anxiety. His new family sounds perfect: they lead a low-key life and are willing to maintain his raw diet and weekly baths to keep his itchies at bay. They understand he’s set in his ways and even their resident Frenchie is willing to play second fiddle, a role he’s responded well to. Lastly, his family adores his rottenness, and he’s found a best friend with her daughter. Good things are worth the wait. Congrats!
Talk about a rags to riches story! Sweet Taylor started life in a puppy mill, but with good fortune and a little luck, she has hit the jackpot! Taylor will be living life as a Southern Belle, with a Frenchie-savvy mom and Boston Terrier sister to play with. Taylor’s new mom understands that Taylor still has some issues to overcome stemming from her rough start in life, but she is committed to making sure this girl fully blossoms into a beautiful French flower. Congratulations!
With Frenchie experience in one pocket and an excellent brachy vet in the other, this couple has no illusions about the expense and complexity of owning a French bulldog. Even so, they applied for the adorable Usher. As a retired couple who have no visiting children, they will be able to continue Usher’s training and they can teach him to redirect all that energy into more positive directions, so he will make better choices. Good luck, one and all! So glad Usher made it home for the holiday season!
After a tumultuous life and a two-year battle with Cushing’s disease, eleven-year-old Zydeco is ready for peace and calm. He made the executive decision to spend the rest of his life in comfort and security as an official member of his foster family. He will spend the rest of his days snuggling on the sofa with his foster-now-adoptive mom and his FBRN grad sister, eating blueberries, and dribbling his basketball whenever he feels like it. Congratulations, Z-man — you have finally found your forever home.
Sweet Dumpling has the most wonderful adoption story to share! He has found his forever home with a veterinarian who was looking for a buddy to call his own. Dumpling now gets to be an office dog and is currently spoiled by everyone who walks in the door. He’s already made lots of new buddies and is living the good life. We’re so proud of you, Dumpling!
We are pleased to announce that FBRN’s own perpetual motion machine, Fern the Canine Tornado of Action, has been adopted! Frenchie fans will recall that Fern came to FBRN when her previous owners realized they didn’t have the energy or patience required to manage this energetic girl. At just over a year old, Fern was still “all puppy,” with a high energy level and sassy attitude that made her a handful. Her foster mom knew she had her work cut out for her. Fern needed a dog-savvy home with patient humans who could continue her housetraining, give her plenty of exercise, teach her manners, and ensure that she matured into a beautiful French blossom. We are thrilled that Fern’s foster mom found the perfect family. Fern’s new dad works from home and her humans will make sure she gets plenty of exercise in her new fenced yard with her new Frenchie sister. They will also make sure she gets obedience training and follow-up appointments with an ophthalmologist to keep an eye on her eyes. We are excited for this sweet, rambunctious girl and her new family!
It is always exciting to announce that one of our fosters has found a perfect forever home, and Giggles is no exception! She is a quiet older lady who likes the company of kids and other dogs. This family has both! They also have a fenced yard where Giggles can lounge, and best of all, she will even get to go to work with mom. Way to go Giggles! We’re super happy for you and your new family.
Lovely Lucille struck gold when she found her forever home. Lucille’s new home is a condo by the beach with space for her to play. Her new mom works for a dog genetics company and there is even a dog park at her work! What more could a girl ask for, other than a Boston Terrier sister to keep her company? Lucille’s new mom understands the way to keep this diva happy while grounding her in reality. Lucky Lucille is happy to have cashed out with this family.
Luna has joined the FBRN adoption club with a retired couple who live in a picturesque northeastern town. Luna will be the only dog, receiving round-the-clock attention. But don’t worry, she lives close to FBRN grad Einstein, so doggy visits could easily be on her social schedule. No doubt Luna’s new family thinks she hung the moon.
Neo, oh Neo, where art thou Neo? He’s home! Neo was scooped up by a lovely young woman looking for an older gentleman to care for for the rest of his life. Neo was a perfect fit and was happy to saunter off into the sunset with her. He will be a spoiled only dog and want for nothing, except maybe a midnight snack or two. From a rough start in life, Neo has found a soft place to land and we couldn’t be happier for the ol’ boy.
It’s hard not to believe in destiny when you see Phineas and his new forever family. Phineas is a rescue in the truest sense of the word–a deafie with severe allergies, behavioral issues, and a bite history–but this didn’t deter his new family one bit. Instead, they are willing to meet his challenges head on and give this canine cream puff a home where he can be the content little goofball that he was always meant to be. Phineas will be the only dog in a mellow, child-free household, and his family has extensive experience with resource guarding and food aggression. On top of that, Phineas’ new mom works with deaf children, so understanding the needs of a hearing-impaired dog is NBD (as the kids like to say). Destiny? Maybe. But a perfect match? Definitely!
Rubus, a “behaviorally challenged” dog, has found a home with an experienced Frenchie mom, where he will continue to work with a trainer and learn how to behave his naughty self! He’ll get several walks a day to get his yayas out. He’ll be the only frogdog in the house, though there are 4 cats we think might help keep him in line–they are armed, after all. It’s a quiet household without any small children, and Rubus will be well aware of the rules and who is the boss–we think this home will be his last. Congratulations, everyone!
Buscemi has found the perfect forever home! His new family is experienced with doggie allergies and is committed to keeping him on his special diet to keep him healthy and itch free. They also have another younger pup to keep him on his toes so he can get his zoomies out with a friend. We are so thrilled that our little snuggle bug will be getting properly spoiled from here on out. Congratulations, Buscemi!
Cardi’s adopter has won the doggy lottery and Cardi has won the forever home lottery! In Cardi’s future: endless bubble baths, supervised water and beach access, sunbathing on the patio and best of all – devoted attention from her new human! Not only does her new mom work from home, but she also has past experience with medical pups, so Cardi’s allergies will be managed to a tee. We’re not sure Cardi could have dreamt of a better match and we’re sure we’ll require pictures of Cardi’s future spa days!
Finding the perfect forever home always tickles our feelers and, boy, did Darby hit the jackpot! Darby has a number of health considerations, but has really blossomed with his new family. They happily take Darby to his physical therapy and acupuncture on a weekly basis. He is happy as a lark and above all, loved unconditionally. Way to go, Darby, we are cheering for you!
We are so excited to report that Emma has found the perfect new home! Emma’s new mom works as a vet tech in a specialty hospital and ER and knows exactly what it takes to keep Emma happy and healthy. Emma’s mom has lots of experience with brachy dogs and she specifically applied for Emma knowing she has the resources to address her myriad of health issues that could require additional treatment in the future. Emma will be the center of attention in her new family and get all the lovin’ she deserves. Congratulations to Emma and her new family!
Hurra! Our favorite little Schumsebacke (literal translation: smoosh cheeks) has found his happily ever after. Ludwig is one of our reformed “bad boys,” who needed a firm but gentle leader to make him feel secure, along with a quiet home far removed from the bright lights and loud noises of the city. Well, Ludwig got all that and then some. His new mom is a dog trainer, and his new home is in the desert, surrounded by stars and sand rather than car horns and streetlights. Ludwig also got a new four-legged sister out of the deal, a certified therapy dog named Lettie, who is super excited to have a new playmate and best friend. Auf Wiedersehen, sweet boy, and happy trails!
Sweet Marisol has found her forever home! Her new family has a long history of familiarity with Frenchies and thus prepared to take care of Marisol’s ongoing needs. That includes being watchful of her remaining eye and prepared for quick treatment should it be needed. Marisol is now proud owner of her very own human children, whom she adores, and a fur sibling to help her learn the ropes in a new home. She is all set for a wonderful and active life, and we wish her all the best!
Chubby has found the perfect forever home! His new family are wonderful people who have adopted special needs dogs in the past and understand how to handle Chubby. When their dog Ollie passed from cancer earlier this year, they knew they wanted to adopt another dog in need, and one look at Chubby’s toothy grin told them he was the one. Chubby will be living the life of luxury in a beautiful dream cabin on 3 acres in remote Montana with two senior fur siblings – 11yo Frenchie, Bessie, and 11yo Boston Terrier, Star. We are so thrilled that Chubby has landed on his feet and wish him and his new family the best!
Who picked who? It seems Dahlia paw-picked her ideal family with adults, dog-savvy kids, and a young, active Frenchie playmate. She’s so lucky to have so many new friends with whom she can burn off energy (and everyone can take turns!). She will also have a large, fenced yard where she can show off her impressive zoomies and continue to blossom. Happy tails, Dahlia!
Precious Dolly has flown the coop and landed in the perfect forever home! Her new family has a nice fenced yard and no other pets, which is perfect for this princess who loves to be the one and only dog in the castle. Dolly’s new mom works from home so she gets lots of attention all day long. So far, Dolly just loves the children in her new home and has learned that they make the best cuddle buddies around. We are so happy that Dolly found a home where she can rule the roost and get all the loving she deserves. Congratulations to Dolly and her new family!
We are so excited that our very own adorable little buttercup Lindylou has found the perfect forever home. Lindy’s new family fell in love with her the moment they set eyes on her and she felt the same way! Lindy has lots of canine siblings to love in her new home as well as a kitty that she is already BFFs with. She also gets to enjoy a fenced yard and she gets to sleep in the big bedroom with her parents at night. What a lucky girl! Congratulations to Lindylou and her new family, we wish them all the best!
“If ifs and ands were pots and pans.” Who remembers Maceo? He’s been in foster for almost 2 years but hasn’t been wallowing in all the ifs, ands, or buts. He knew a watched pot never boils and eventually found his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. With his new forever family, this cutie with IVDD will not only continue all of his current therapies but also with the same exact docs. Jackpot! He will have a Frenchie playmate, no stairs to contend with and humans to give him so much love. There truly is a lid for every pot. Congratulations, Maceo. Enjoy your new lid.
Mae was surrendered to FBRN because her owner’s health issues meant that she would spend most of her day in a crate. No fun for a dog in her prime! Luckily for this gal, her new home comes with another Frenchie to play with and at least one human home to tend to her. Both humans have extensive experience taking care of typical bulldog ailments, and they’ve already done some reading up about brachycephalic airway syndrome and laryngeal collapse and they have located specialists who will make sure she has the best veterinary care. Her new family will also continue her training.
We are all so happy that Mae’s family is making up for all those lonely hours in her crate!
Some things are just meant to be together. Peas and carrots, beans and cornbread, mac and cheese…and of course, Marta and Brigitta. These two can’t stand to be apart from each other and we couldn’t bear to break them up, despite the challenge of finding a home for not one, but two special needs dogs. So we are absolutely elated (and perhaps a wee bit teary-eyed) to announce that our bat-eared BFFs will be together forever in their new adoptive home. Marta and Brigitta’s new mom and dad are longtime Frenchie fanciers with oodles of experience caring for senior and special needs dogs, so we know our dear girls are in the best of hands. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better landing spot for these two, and we send them all of our love as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.
Ah, French Bulldog puppies. Adorable, squishy, enchanting, intoxicating…devilish, conniving little imps bent on total world domination. (What? Too much? It appears you’ve never met a French Bulldog puppy.) That was certainly Ruthie, a puppy who was surrendered to FBRN by her elderly owner when she realized she was no match for a bossy, domineering Frenchie. Ruthie routinely pestered the other dog in the home and thought she was in charge of the whole operation.
To paraphrase Dirty Harry, “A puppy’s gotta know her limitations.” To her great good fortune, Ruthie has now landed in a home with humans who are not shy about letting her know all about those limitations. They are setting boundaries, reinforcing rules and reminding Ruthie whenever necessary about how a proper French lady behaves. Ruthie is doing very well with her new structure and lifestyle and is settling in quite nicely. Her humans report that her sparkling presence in the home has also energized the resident Frenchie (a cart dog) who is happier and more energetic now with her new canine companion. We’re thrilled for the whole family and wish them all the best in their new lives together.
Wes was only three when he was surrendered to FBRN. His first family didn’t have enough time for him, and boy, does this guy deserve to have attention! He’s full of joie de vivre, and he just wants to share his love. He immediately made himself at home with his foster family, and no doubt he has settled right in with his adoptive family.
His new people have plenty of Frenchie experience, and they are ready to continue treatments for his allergies. A Frenchie sibling and two human ones will give Wes lots of cuddles and playtime for years to come!
Zoe is one lucky girl, having found her perfect forever home at long last. You’d think she is the mayor of her neighborhood, because she entertains callers and visitors during the day while being adored by her human family when callers are absent. Her new family is very Frenchie-savvy and there’s always someone home with her to attend to her every need. Parents are committed to keeping a close eye on her allergies and regimen to ensure continued good health. Zoe even has human siblings now who adore her. This girl hit the jackpot! Welcome home, Zoe!
It’s a fact of life that some little girls don’t play well with others, and lovely Alexandra is most certainly one of them. For this reason, she is delighted to have found a family who have no other dogs and are content to keep it that way. Alexandra will be the empress of her castle and will accompany her Frenchie-experienced new owners on relaxing walks in their charming, rural neighborhood where other dogs are few and far between. Best of all, Alexandra will have ALL the treats, ALL the cuddles, and ALL the toys ALL to herself. Rumor has it that soon she will even have a fenced yard all her own! What more could a little Diva want?
Beaux absolutely adored his foster family’s small kids, and his forever family offers him two dog-savvy little girls he can continue to grow with. In addition, he now has a large fenced yard – perfect for his puppy play sessions, which he greatly enjoys. In addition, his family comes came with Frenchie experience, including on-going management of the dreaded allergies, the mysteries of tail pocket maintenance, their resident dog is raw fed, and she’s the happy-go-lucky type. Since Beaux prefers the ladies, this is a perfect match for a forever fur sibling. Happy trails, young Beaux!
Sophie has flown the coop and landed in the perfect forever home! Her new family has two friendly pups to will keep her company. Her new mom is retired and has lots of time to devote to her. Sophie’s new mom also has experience with Frenchies and understands their unique needs. Sophie will have a nice fenced yard to play in with her fur siblings, and we bet they will be lazing around in a nice sunny patch of grass together in no time. Congratulations to Sophie and her new family!
The mystery always gets solved at the end of Scooby Doo and, after 7 months in foster, it was no great mystery that Velma was already home. Rescued by ASPCA from a commercial breeder then being returned to by her first adopters due to anxiety, Velma found her people through FBRN and will never need to experience uncertainty again. Her foster-turned-adoptive family has an exceptional understanding of Velma, her personality, her triggers, and the best ways to manage them. She has progressed so much since December , we couldn’t imagine her flourishing as much anywhere else. They accept her imperfections and have provided such a stable and committed home; she’s not simply existing, she’s thriving. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Love and kisses to all!
p>Sweet Akira has found a home to call her own. After some tough times, we are thrilled that Akira has found a wonderful home where she will be always be cherished. Her new home is perfect for Akira, from the type of flooring and furniture, to the ramps going into the back yard. Everything is ready for her! Her new mom and stay-at-home dad have years of experience with Frenchies and are committed to keeping Akira’s allergies under control. Enjoy the good life, Akira!
Not so long ago, in a galaxy not so far away was a Frenchie named Bubby (short for Bubby Fet) that has finally found his forever home. His new home is complete with a Frenchie brother, a mom, a dad, and a load of star wars watching in the future. Bubby’s family has Frenchie experience and parents that can be home to keep him company. He’s also a lucky man to have a yard to explore as he pleases. In the future there might be some Jedi training and a lightsaber of his own. There appears to be nothing but galaxies of fun ahead for this sweet boy.
We are pleased to announce that FBRN’s Donatello has found his forever home!
While we certainly pride ourselves on finding the best home for every frog that comes into our care, this placement was truly perfect. Even Donatello’s namesake, the Italian Renaissance sculptor, could not have created a more perfect home for this sweet brindle pied biscuit.
Donatello’s new mom has no other pets and works from home, so she can give her entire focus to this boy, and provide the consistency, structure and love he needs to thrive. Donatello watchers might recall that he was bounced around a bit between several homes before coming to FBRN, so finding a stable, secure and truly “forever” home for him was a top priority.
Donatello is a high-energy frog with puppy-like curiosity who can get into trouble if left to his own devices. (Or what is also known as a “French Bulldog.”) His new mom will be enrolling him in training classes to help channel his energy and enable him to mature into a great canine citizen. And mom is no Frenchie amateur — her previous Frenchie was with her for 12 years, and she navigated various health concerns and behavioral issues and provided him with the best care until he passed away from cancer. We have no doubt that Donatello is in the very best hands and will be living the good life at his new home in Texas.
Congratulations to both of you!!
We’re thrilled to announce that Gizmo has found her forever home! Her adopters have had a lot of dog experience, including disabled pups, which is great since Gizmo is partially paralyzed. She will have a stay at home parent, a big back yard all to herself, and THREE people to focus on just her! Way to go Gizmo, we know you’ll love being the center of attention!
We are so happy to share that our big bear Grizzly has found the perfect home! His new family is perfectly prepared to handle all of his special needs from itchy allergies to his big case of stranger danger. They are committed to continuing to help this guy come out of his shell and learn to trust again. We wish him and his family many years of happiness.
Cart dog Iverson has found a place to park his wheels! His new people have personal experience with rehab and recovery, so he has the best chance of regaining some function in his hind legs with them. Iverson will never lack kindness and attention.
In return, they are welcoming a joyful, loving guy who will bring smiles to everyone who meets him. And during his time in foster, he was so loved by his fans that he is bringing with him a considerable stash of gifts!
Rico came to FBRN with trust issues and apprehension towards strangers which resulted in some undesirable behaviors. Despite being only about a year old and in a stable foster home, his issues are still a bit of a “work in progress”. Rico may always require constant supervision around strangers, but he has learned to trust his foster family. We felt it was best to avoid the turmoil that another move would cause, and we’re thrilled to report that Rico has been adopted by his foster family. Congrats sweet Rico!
Tiny Canele has found the sweet life with a perfect home! Her new person has plenty of experience, so Canele’s allergies and special diet won’t faze her at all. Plus, this human has a flexible schedule that will accommodate Canele’s potty training and obedience classes.
This lucky girl will have a Frenchie big sister and a Brussels Griffon brother, plus a Schnauzer cousin to play with (a young gal needs lots of exercise!) to help her learn social cues and boundaries. We’re so happy for Canele to be joining this pack!
Sometimes a foster dog just wiggles their way into our hearts and homes. Elaine’s new people expected their foster dog to stay for a weekend. That weekend became a month, then another month, and by that time, she was part of the family.
They worked hard to figure out her health issues, and the fact that she is still a bouncy puppy who needs guidance and training, and her humans and four-legged siblings finally found a routine that works. Elaine just balances out this family, and someone is always available when she needs to be taken to an appointment. They have made her well-being a priority, and she has focused on being a loving, sweet girl. She chose this family, and they are honored to tend to her needs for the rest of her life.
As a rescue organization, we always try to place a dog into the “right” home. In this case, Elaine made herself right at home.
Some dogs receive numerous applications and it can be a difficult process to pick the best fit. Some dogs, like sweet senior Marcellus, receive only one application but it’s like the stars aligned and it was meant to be. His new family was looking for the opportunity to assist an underdog with an irresistible mug. Enter Marcellus. No cats? Check. Experienced dog parents? Check. Quiet, low-energy household? Check. Baby Bjorn? Check check! Their current Frenchie must lay low due to an inoperable heart murmur so he and Marcellus will be "walking" their neighborhood in style in matching Bjorns! We all want a picture of that cuteness! Congratulations and happy tails, Marcellus.
April showers bring May flowers and Poppy has sprung up in her new forever home! With a mom who works from home and has researched all of Poppy’s conditions, our favorite little flower’s every need will be attended to. She will be a big-city pup, enjoying many adventures with her new best friend. What a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day and the rest of their new lives together. Congratulations to all!
Pip is ready to start his forever after with a new family of mom, dad and Frenchie sister. He will have lots of love and structure to help him continue growing into a fine young gentleman. His new parents are experienced Frenchie owners and will be able meet all of his needs as well as take him to local Frenchie meet ups to get his zoomies on. Best of luck, Pip!
We have take-off! Shallot’s forever family has a schedule that allows them to spend much of their time at home. They have previous Frenchie experience and understand the breed quite well. Her new forever home understands that in order to continue her potty training she needs the ability to be out frequently and they are committed to providing that for her. Shallot will have a low key fur sibling who doesn’t mind being second fiddle to Shallot. They are committed to keeping up with Shallot’s medicine schedule. Shallot now has a new large yard to romp around in, though she most likely won’t spend much time in it, as she isn’t a nature-lover. Shallot will get all the love of her new family and fur sibling. What more could a girl ask for!
Charlize’s forever home knows that while she is an adorable puppy, she also needs structure. In addition to her human mom and dad, her Frenchie sister is also ready to help provide that. Dad is home all day to see to her every need, and Charlize will get to take frequent trips to Frenchie meet ups, local eateries, and every day outings to see her adoring public! We look forward to frequent updates on the many adventures of Charlize the fabulous frog!
Dodger has hit a home run with his new adoptive family! This sweet boy suffers from megaesophagus, an incurable disorder that makes it extremely difficult to hold down food and water. Mega-e is not an easy condition to manage, but Dodger’s new mom is an experienced veterinary technician who is definitely up to the task. Dodger was immediately smitten with his new family, which includes not one but two Frenchie siblings, and the feeling is obviously mutual. It’s such a perfect match that even Giants fans won’t mind joining us in a chant of “Let’s go, Dodger!”
Anyone who’s ever met a French bulldog knows that they just aren’t like any other dog. They have quirks and tendencies, like a goofy sense of humor and a strong preference to getting their own way. Unfortunately, Frenchies also have a tendency to have allergies, and little Edwyn has them in spades.
Thankfully, Edwyn’s new humans are well versed in tending to these idiosyncracies, having been dogparents to another French bulldog already. So Edwyn will have a family dedicated to his well-being, and a bonus instant friend to play with! Edwyn is committed to an active lifestyle, so he’s happy that he’ll have a fenced yard to exercise in before he settles in for a good snuggle on the couch (another thing Frenchies love!).
We are so thrilled to announce that Marie has been adopted! Marie’s new home is one where she can be queen of her own castle. She will have 2 human teenage brothers to treat her like royalty, a mom who works from home and all the love she needs. Marie’s new family knows that she needs to have a close eye kept on her back and will be taking extra good good care of her. She will be able to enjoy the beautiful country surrounding her new home and her family will make sure she has everything she needs. Congratulations Marie!
Piccolo joins another FBRN grad, Shadow, in a home that will treat her like a princess! She will be going to a Frenchie-experienced family who did a terrific job rehabbing her big brother’s hind legs, and they will be ready to make sure to maintain her health and keep her allergies under control. Piccolo will be very loved here, but she’s also arriving at a good time for her new family–Shadow recently lost his long-time buddy, and they have been waiting for someone to keep him company.
True to her name, Plum has found a plum forever family! Plum’s new family is a one-dog-only kind of home and have a lot of time to spend at home with her. They have previous experience caring for a dog with recurring ear infections and recognize Plum will need the same diligent care. Plum took to them instantly and is already reported to be carrying her toys around showing them off to the entire family. Plum is soaking in the good life and we wish her well!
Sherman is going to live with an experienced couple who are return adopters. They are familiar with just about every ailment that Frenchie flesh is heir to, and have a number of specialists on speed-dial–just in case the need arises. Sherman will have an active little Frenchie brother to walk with. If things work out, Sherman might be able to go to doggy day care and get some of his yaya’s out that way, too! Between active parents and an active brother and the prospect of all-day exercise, Sherman has found an excellent match.
Cosmo is reactive toward other dogs, especially when leashed. We’re thrilled to report that his adopting family is great at working with reactive dogs! They put a lot of effort into making it possible for Cosmo to not only live with but also play with and enjoy life with another dog. Their willingness to be consistent and continue with his training will ensure that he continues to have the most enjoyable life possible. Congrats Cosmo!
No one expected the sassy Mineaux to hit the jackpot the way she did. This girl wrapped her foster family around her little finger and stole their hearts during the 8 months she was there. In her forever home she will have a number of fur siblings to play with. Her foster parents are diapering pro’s and are dedicated to continuing her raw diet and keeping an eye out for UTIs. Best of all her foster mom is retired and Mineaux will get to spend the day lounging with her and getting lots of snuggles in.
Sweet Noki is off to live the good life. His new family had a Noki-shaped hole in their lives that he’s fitting into just perfectly. Noki’s parents have lots of at-home time to spend with him, and he’s even already approved of his new fur-sister. They are very familiar with allergy issues, which is exactly what Noki needs to keep him happy and comfortable. Don’t forget to write, Noki, we want to hear all about your new life!
Strudel has found her favorite, forever fruit filling, er, we mean family! She will have a Frenchie sibling companion and plenty of snuggle time with her new Mom and Dad. Strudel’s laid back personality and chill nature will fit in perfectly with the new fam and we’re sure she will quickly stake out her ideal napping spots. Here’s to plenty of sweet and loving years for this sweet and loving gal!
Tulie returned to us after her original adoptive family could no longer care for her. She arrived with a number of health issues, and after her new foster family nursed her back to health, they decided that there is no way they were letting this old lady go! Now she’ll spend her time in a home with a big backyard, two Frenchie siblings, and two loving humans who will love her forever.
Break out the coffee and donuts, Dunkin has been adopted! This big sweetie has found himself an active home where he will be the only dog with lots of family members to follow around. And with a fenced yard, he can get lots of exercise, outside of his walks, in order to continue to shed that extra weight. We wish Dunkin and new family a happy, healthy and forever future!
Jordi the beefsteak has gone home! Faithful Frenchie followers might recall that this handsome brindle gent came into rescue severely underweight. Now, after four months with a wonderful foster family, he has filled out beautifully – gaining a remarkable ten pounds! — and has transformed into the lush, resplendent dog he was meant to be. Jordi will be an only canine, ensuring that he will be the center of attention in his new family, with ready access to unlimited belly rubs and tasty snacks. (We are checking to see if his people would consider adopting us as well.) Jordi’s new people are experienced dog owners whose staggered work schedules mean this little French potato will spend minimal time alone. What a great ending for Jordi’s FBRN story, and an equally wonderful start to his new life!
This little pied princess celebrated her gotcha day in style with her new mom, friends and family. There were gifts, laughter and happy tears while Leyna Marie enjoyed her own hypo-allergenic treats. She has the perfect life she’s been dreaming of. Whether she’s turning ice cube boulders into ice gravel, shaking up her favorite stuffy, or playing morning pitty pat and snorfle in the big bed — our sweet girl has it made. Mom is home all the time and there are no other dogs to spoil the festive mood. Enjoy it all, Leyna Marie. You deserve it!
Moet bids au revoir to FBRN. This girl hit the jackpot when she found her forever family. She will get to spend her days living in a condo that overlooks the beach. She can spend her days watching the waves crash on the shore or watching the cruise ships pass as they depart for the ocean.
Her new family has previous Frenchie experience, are medical doctors, and includes a 16-year-old Bichon sibling. This family knows how to care for their pets and will provide Moet with much love, many dog toys, and will continue to treat her mild but important medical needs. Let’s raise a glass to toast Moet and wish her new family many years of love, snuggles, and Frenchie kisses.
