Cello has been adopted by the perfect forever family, and it is absolutely music to our ears! Cello’s new parents are very aware of how to handle her allergies and will be giving her frequent baths to keep her skin healthy. Cello will also have a 2 1/2 year old Frenchie playmate at her new home! This new duo will surely be creating a musical racket around the house with their grunts, snores, and snuffles, in no time!
Lastly, Cello will have plenty of time to get acquainted with her new family since her new mom is only out of the house 2-3 hours a day a couple days a week. We are so thrilled that Cello will have a loving new home for the holidays. Best wishes to Cello and her new family.
Has Eden found her paradise? We think so! Her forever family is well versed in her allergies and separation anxiety. She will continue her special diet, never have to be around cats, and receive the best medical care when needed. She will even have her very own fenced yard and doggy siblings with whom to play. And we’re sure there will be plenty of snuggles, car rides, and walks with her humans in the future. What more could Eden desire? Congratulations to all!
Toni came into foster care with multiple health issues, we all knew that it would take a lot of work to get him in better shape and to keep him there. Eventually, after an MRI revealed an arachnoid cyst in his brain, we decided to treat him medically and keep him comfortable for as long as he had left. But his foster mama had lost own her dogs in the past year, and she appreciated having a dog in her life during this time. After a while, it became pretty clear Toni filled the dog-shaped hole in her heart, even knowing Toni’s condition and prognosis. Toni is happy that he’ll be staying right where he is already known and loved. We couldn’t have asked for a happier ending!
From timid and fearful to more daring and confident, sweet Brigid has now found her forever home! With a mom who stays home, a dad, and 3 dog-savvy human siblings, Brigid will have all the attention she deserves. She might even learn some tricks as her new human sister has taught the resident dog almost everything he knows. Brigid’s Frenchie sibling is very laid back, waiting to show her all the best places to explore in the big fenced backyard (after slow introductions, of course). We love happy endings and brand new beginnings, and Brigid has both with this great family.
Gallagher hit the jackpot with his forever family! Since Mom & Dad work different schedules, Gallagher will have someone home with him almost all the time. He will have an awesome new forever fur-brother named Jax to pal around with, and the dogs will have a fenced yard to play in outside. We couldn’t be happier for both Gallagher and his forever family!
Special-needs girl, Henrietta, now has a loving home in Florida! Her new family is ready to help Henrietta maintain her treatment for epilepsy, and they familiar with feeding a raw diet, which should help keep her weight and allergies under control. With a work-at-home dad and a new Frenchie sibling to play with in their big back yard, she’s got it made!
Langston has found a truly perfect family for himself.
Langston scored big with a family that took time to ask questions about his personality, health, and habits. He will now have a mom who works from home and a dad who can work from home most of the time. The household includes two doting teenage girls to call his own. He also gets a Frenchie fur sibling. These boys will be boisterous, fun-loving, and mischievous together. They will surely turn heads on their neighborhood walking paths. Our congratulations to Langston, who has found a family that is genuine, warm, and loving.
Wilder has made his way home at long last! His new family is just perfect for the smart and active little guy. He’ll have the opportunity to try his cap at office dog and also be with his humans around the clock. Wilder is looking forward to living an active lifestyle and becoming a good fur-brother to the resident, non-dominant female dog in the house. The future is definitely looking bright for Wilder and we wish him all the best!
It’s often said there’s a lid to every pot and, boy, did Wren find her lid! Her new family provides exactly what this senior gal needed, the perfect mix of snuggle time and short bursts of activity. Wren now has both a Frenchie-knowledgeable ophthalmologist and dog walker on speed dial and only a short distance away from home. When Wren isn’t catching up on her TV shows cuddled up on the couch, she can be found snoozing in her own little bed. Here’s to the good life, Wren!
Adelaide spent many years having puppies before she found herself in rescue. Now it’s her turn to be babied by her new family! Frenchie-experienced, familiar with allergy issues and one patient dog sibling, she will spend her senior years learning everything she can about what a regular dog does and enjoying all the attention she was missing as a full-time mom. Enjoy your retirement, Adelaide!
Alfalfa might have had quite the challenges, but finding a forever home wasn’t one of them. He flourished so much under the care that he was getting in his foster home, that they decided another obstacle for him shouldn’t be finding a new home. His new forever family works from home daily so he will never be without someone around. His new mom has a medical background and is fully capable with all of Alfalfa’s medical needs. Though Alfalfa has thrown some hurdles their way, they haven’t batten an eyelash and have taken everything in stride. Alfalfa will continue to flourish in his forever home!
Sometimes things are just meant to be, and so it is with Aloha and her foster mom, who is now her forever mom. Aloha’s mom lost her beloved Frenchie girl earlier this year, and was still mourning her loss when Aloha waddled into her life. Aloha, for her part, was a little confused as to why, at age 13, she had been suddenly thrust into a brand new household. Call it coincidence or call it serendipity, but these two were just what the other needed, and far be it for us to mess with destiny! Aloha and her mom found ‘ohana in each other, and we couldn’t be happier.
Biden just didn’t fit in with his original family. The other dog was territorial about his people, which meant poor Biden was kept away from the cuddling and attention that he craved. On top of that, he was not doing well with his skin and ear issues, and he seemed a bit skinny for a Frenchie. His foster family took him in, cleared up his skin and ears, and fattened him up. They gave him the attention he needed to be a happy, healthy dog, and apparently the feeling was mutual — his foster family loved him from the moment they met. Something clicked. Everyone agreed that Biden belonged there, and so he’ll stay. Welcome home, Biden!
Sweet, senior Esther has found an absolutely awesome forever home in which to spend her sunset years! Her 13 years of lap-dog experience are exactly what this retired couple was looking for. In fact, she fell asleep in her new dad’s lap before the transfer paperwork was even complete. If that doesn’t spell perfection, then we don’t know what does. And their previous experience with seniors and Frenchies was just the cherry on top. We love when matches are so effortless. Congratulations Esther and new family!
We are so happy to let y’all know that Patches has found the perfect forever home! His new mom and dad are a perfect fit because they have lots of energy and understand that he is a dog that needs strong boundaries, stability, lots of attention, and exercise. His forever home will be able to provide an active lifestyle for Patches, while offering the stability he craves. Patches’ new family is also committed to working on any behavioral issues that are present or may arise, and will consult a behaviorist if necessary. We are so thrilled that Patches found a home that understands his unique needs and has the time and energy to devote to his training. Congratulations, gorgeous guy!
Exuberant little butterball Simon has found a home where he has room to grow!
His new family includes two other dogs, one four years old and the other 11, so he’ll have at least one playmate who can keep him busy in their big fenced yard. Simon’s new home has lots of fostering experience, so they are doing their slow intros to make sure everything goes smoothly and when that’s done, they may spend some time at a dog daycare every week for some extra socialization.
As a younger dog, Simon will need some training — he is at that awkward age where he doesn’t like being told “no”! He will also stay on his raw diet, and his people will keep his space cat- and mite-free, for his allergies.
At his foster home, Simon had a reputation for being a bed hog, but at his forever home they are happy to indulge him. Will a king-size bed be big enough for this champion cuddler? Time will tell! And since there will always be someone at home, there’ll be lots of nice walks where he will be a neighbourhood favorite in no time.
Vanellope has found her forever home! It looks like this girl might have found a human twin to call her own. Her forever mom has a lovely place close to many parks and the beach that they will make part of their weekly routine. Vanellope will be the chief “cream puff” at her new home and enjoy all of her new mom’s attention. Her new mom understands that Vanellope enjoys her toys and has a fun box that she can keep her toys in and when the need arises, she can bring them out.
Since Vanellope likes to cuddle, her new mom enjoys reading and Vanellope can certainly join her while she reads bedtime stories; cuddle up, belly rubs, and frenchie snores… aahh how relaxing is that? A curious Frenchie is welcome at her new mom’s place of work so when she is not working from home, Vanellope can get into her very own dog seat and drive in with mom and say hello to her co-workers. What a great life!
Whopper’s new mom is excited to adopt Whopper. He will have her all to himself as she has no other dogs and no children. During the interview, we discovered that Whopper also has a very excited set of grandparents to spoil him stinkin’ rotten. Whopper’s mom assured us that she is ready to handle Whopper’s dislike of dogs on TV and they have agreed Animal Planet and reruns of Lassie are out of the question. Medical bills are no problem for this adopter and we are very excited for Whopper. This a great forever home for him.
Wicklow’s new family will consist of Mom, Dad, and La Dub. Wicklow guards resources like toys and food so we’re thrilled that she has a wonderful forever home where she can be the only princess! Her new parents have previous Frenchie experience and understand the diva mentality that Wicklow occasionally displays. As an added bonus, Mom has a job where dogs are welcome to accompany their parents to work. Mom & Dad will keep a close eye on her elbow as it continues to heal and they even carpeted their steps just for Wicklow. It is a perfect match and we wish the whole family all the best!
We didn’t think it was possible for Sir Wigglesbutt’s butt to get any wigglier, but he took it to a new level when he met his new forever family! Wigglesbutt’s new mom and dad are Frenchie savants who aren’t daunted at all by his allergies and lack of training. Wigglesbutt has two new canine siblings to show him the ropes, and with a multi-generational human family at his beck and call, he won’t ever need to worry about being alone. It’s so exciting that we can’t help but do a little rump shake ourselves! Congratulations, WB!
What better home could be found for our sweet Bryce than one with a work-from-home mom experienced in his conditions? He will be forever loved and have around-the-clock human attention, his most favorite pastime, and close supervision for his currently well-controlled seizures. We absolutely love when all the pieces fall into place, and this adoption is no exception. Happy Tails, Bryce and new family!
We’re happy to report that Dezz has found his forever home! His new mom has a flexible work schedule and no other pets. She’s able to provide an inclusive lifestyle for Dezz while still adhering to his usual routine. This is a perfect combination for Dezz! Congratulations to Dezz and his new forever momma, we’re thrilled with this perfect match!
We are so excited to let everyone know that our baby brindle boy Dragon has found a forever lair! His new Khaleesi has lots of experience with frenchies and knows how to handle all of Dragon’s itches and allergies. Dragon’s new mom knows all the tricks needed to keep him in tip top shape. We are so excited that this big guy found a home that understands how to handle his special needs. We are certain that Dragon will be his mom’s “moon and stars” forever. Congratulations Dragon!
Pete is super excited to be home at last. His new parents have previous Frenchie experience and no other pets, a necessary bonus for sweet Pete who has allergies to cats and not being king of the roost. Pete’s guarding tendencies will be closely watched, and he’ll be given the structure and consistency he needs. A match made in heaven as he’ll get the hustle and bustle he craves while accompanying his mom to work and also be the center of attention at home. Super happy little guy and we wish him all the best!
Benedict has flown the coop and landed himself in a wonderful forever home. His new family checked all of Benedict’s boxes and then some! His new mom and dad have a house with a large fenced in back yard in a wonderful neighborhood great for walking and heading to parks. They work a schedule that minimizes the amount of time Benedict will be cooped up with all that young puppy energy. They also have lots of Frenchie experience. He will have a new frenchie fur sibling, Dr. Cheeseburger, to wrassle with all day as well! We are so happy for Benedict and his new family! Congratulations!
We are so excited to share that Bodie has found the perfect home! Bodie’s new dad was looking for a dog who might have little chance of being adopted due to disability and the cost of care. He’s able to provide Bodie everything he will need to live a happy, healthy life. Bodie will be able to roll around the house in his new wheels and have someone to watch over him all day long. We are so happy for Bodie and his new family!
At 11 years old, Brady decided that he did not want to move anymore! We’re happy to say that this senior guy has found his forever home with his foster family. Brady has a senior canine sibling and a young child to love, both of which make him very happy. His health issues have been resolved and he is enjoying his golden years snuggling with his family and enjoying the life that all senior dogs should have. We could not be happier for Brady and we know he is well loved by his forever family!
Busti’s new forever family fell in love with the French Bulldog breed when they spent some time with a relative’s Frenchie. After this chance meeting, they knew that they needed to have one as part of their family. His new family might be first-time Frenchie owners, but Busti will make that easy for them with his well-controlled allergies. They are already used to having to give a daily medicine to their Golden, so keeping up with Busti’s ears and eyes will be no problem at all. He’s already made the AC vent his own. This guy also gets a giant back yard with room to play. Congrats to Busti and his new forever family!
Handsome Henrik has found of a heck of a forever home! His new family doesn’t mind that he has a wonky hip and back, and they are willing and able to do the extra work (and pay the extra costs) that come with a special needs dog. Best of all, Henrik will be an only dog, which means that all the love, toys, kisses, and attention are his, his, his! We couldn’t be happier for our sweet boy, and wish him and his new family nothing but the best.
Mowgli has found the perfect forever home! After several potential adopters fell through for this special pup, Mowgli and his foster parents realized he was where he needed to be all along. Mowgli’s foster family knows all about his particular quirks such as his irrational fear of many routine things like fans and hair dryers, and that he can be prickly around new dogs. Lucky for Mowgli, he won’t need to meet any new dogs and the dogs in his foster family adore him! We are so happy that this young and vibrant pup has landed in a loving home that accepts and understands his unique personality. Congratulations to Mowgli and his family. We are so happy for all of you!
Nola srtuck gold with her new forever family. They have previous Frenchie experience, and her new dad works from home. This girl will have someone there to keep her separation anxiety at bay. Her new family is more than experienced with the problems that can come with a Frenchie. They have even been through getting a cart for a previous dog. Nola’s new dad will be quick to notice if anything is bothering her health wise. She will also have a faithful fur sibling that will do her bidding. Since Nola is a younger active lady, she’s happy to have both a fur sibling and a human sibling to keep up with her. We’re sure that she will have some great stories to tell with her new family!
Romply’s new parents are dyed-in-the-wool Frenchie people, and were specifically interested in Romply because she’s an older gal. They have allergy dog experience, and are very aware of the dietary requirements, bathing routine, face-fold cleaning, and all the high-maintenance activities that come along with it. Romply will have a senior Boxer sibling to pal around with, not to mention a mom who works from home. She’ll have her person by her side every day, which is Romply’s idea of heaven. Congratulations all around!
It’s sad when a dog ends up in rescue, so imagine how hard it was for Sunshine to end up in a foster home again after six years with her family! This story has a happy ending, though, because her foster parents have decided that she’s not going anywhere: this lovable senior will spend her retirement years as an only dog, being the center of attention — which is how she likes it!
This family has already seen her through some recent health challenges, including a small mass on her liver, spinal issues, and allergies. Sunshine’s medical routine is now familiar to them, and she’ll have consistent and dedicated care for the rest of her life. No more rainy days for Sunshine!
Allonsy has finally found his forever home. Here he will have a Frenchie brother and even some human children to play with. Allonsy will even get to accompany his new mom to work where he will be loved on by college students. This boy couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home. We wish him well in all of his new adventures.
Finding the right family for a foster dog is a process typically handled by the humans of FBRN. We fill out forms, share bios on our Facebook page and website, review applications, conduct phone interviews, and before it’s all said and done, ponder, cogitate and ruminate on which home will be the best for each Frenchie in our care. We do most of the heavy lifting and leave the easy stuff to our foster Frenchies. They are responsible for catching the best rays of sun, analyzing and evaluating the various toy options in their foster home, looking adorable, getting healthy (or healthier), getting loved on and learning to be good canine citizens and ambassadors for the breed.
But Holy cow if our girl Claire didn’t go and take matters into her own hands (paws?) and get herself adopted, and by her own veterinarian, no less! Even after discovering that Claire has spondylosis and IVDD, the doctor was undaunted. She wanted Claire to come live with her, her husband, and dog brother, another rescue. His new mom is well-versed in acupuncture as well as Western medicine, and Claire will benefit from all her mom’s knowledge to help her live the best, healthiest life possible. We don’t profess to be “Claire-voyant,” but we predict a wonderful, happy life is in store for Claire and her new family. Congrats to the whole bunch of you!
We just love a good senior adoption story, and Dharma’s second round is sure to be her final one! After being returned from her first adoptive home, Dharma has now found a less hectic, toddler-free home with a laid-back Frenchie brother and a devoted mother who will work with her anxiety. At 11 years old, Dharma will now have a stable, loving, forever home, just as it should be for all Frenchies: the young and the young at heart. Félicitations à tous (congratulations to all)!
We’re thrilled to report that 11-year-old Elijah has found his perfect forever home! This family was chosen because of their experience with rescues and flat-faced breeds. They have a stable, stay-at-home lifestyle in a wonderful neighborhood where Elijah will enjoy walks and visits with the neighbors. We know Elijah will be loved and well taken care of and we couldn’t be happier!
Gemini is going for her PhD! Well, not exactly, but her new forever parents are in charge of a residential college campus dorm, so Gemini will have what she loves best: around-the-clock human attention. And the 34-acre campus will be her oyster as she explores every nook and cranny while walking on leash. She will continue her raw diet and medications to manage her allergies and incontinence. And while all of the upperclassmen girls are learning from their studies, we think Gemini will teach them a thing or two about unconditional love and belly rubs. Congratulations on a perfect match.
Gryphon, the mythical beast, was adopted by a young couple with lots of Frenchie experience. They are very active in their local Frenchie meet-up group and have promised to bring Gryphon to local events. Gryphon’s new parents have experience dealing with allergies, as well as having resources to address whatever needs he may have down the line. They are very active and Gryphon will be learning to paddle board, going for lots of hikes, and will be going to daycare to get out any extra zoomies. Seems this mythical beast has found an epic home! Congrats to Gryphon and his new family!
Kobe came into rescue in terrible shape– trouble breathing and keeping food down, a bad eye, and allergies. It took several surgeries and a cocktail of medications, but his health completely turned around thanks to all the love and care from his foster family and a team of veterinarians.
Two of those veterinarians fell in love with this cuddle bug, and because of all of his medical issues, they are the perfect fit to take care of little Kobe! They will be able to monitor his conditions and make sure he remains active and healthy. He is still young, and will spend the rest of his life with this wonderful couple, a Rottweiler, and another Frenchie to love and play with. They are so lucky to have found each other!
Louella has been adopted by a family with plenty of Frenchie experience, a big back yard, a playful resident Frenchie, and the desire to make Louella’s home the perfect forever placement. We wish them all a long life of happiness.
Sometimes it takes a while to find your perfect match. Walfred’s new dad had been keeping up to date on all the Frenchies at FBRN for a long time, but for him, none of them seemed to be juuuust right. That is, until he read the bio and saw pictures of Walfred! It was love at first sight for his new dad and he knew Walfred would be the perfect match.
Walfred’s mellow, couch potato life style will mesh nicely with his dad’s workday. Walfred will get company during the evenings and on weekends and all his new dad’s attention will be on him. Walfred will be an only Frenchie and enjoy the perks that come with that lifestyle. His new dad has read up on everything related to allergy needs and raw diets. We’re sure that Walfred has found his perfect match too, and we couldn’t be happier for him!
Bourbon has hit the jackpot! Her new family has dog beds in every room, stairs for easy access to the couch, and plenty of room in their closet for Bourbon’s extensive wardrobe. They have experience with brachy breeds and currently have 2 Boston Terriers. Best of all, they are prepared to work with Bourbon’s quirks. We know this will truly be Bourbon’s forever home!
Didi, our little ball of energy, is home at last! Didi loves lots of attention and activity and her new home will give her that in spades. Her Frenchie brother and her new human brother have already become fast buddies and have a full list of activities lined up, including camping and walks on the beach. Didi has a very bright future ahead of her! Happy trails, Didi!
Our special-needs boy, Fitzgerald, has found himself a dream home! It was obvious right from the very start that his new mama was the right one for him. On paper, she has the credentials to make sure his medical condition is monitored and taken care of: she’s an occupational therapist who has been reading up on various therapies that will keep Fitz in good health, and she is comfortable with bully breed issues, since she was an English bulldog owner for 13 years.
Off paper, she has the lifestyle to make sure he’s never lonely: she plans on bringing him along to work and having him trained as a therapy dog so he can help out in the best way he can. At home, he’ll have a grandma, grandpa, and uncle to keep him company in those rare moments he’ll be away from his mom.
On top of all those qualifications, she’s also got the right heart for a dog like Fitzgerald; he knew right away that they were meant to be together, jumping into her arms and giving her some Frenchie kisses. She recently lost that bulldog of 13 years, and Fitz just knew that he was there to help her heal. Happy life, young Fitz.
The handsome golden nugget called Hammond has found his forever home! His new parents knows all about Frenchie allergies and is committed to continuing his medication and diet regimen. They also have flexible schedules which will allow for almost as many snuggles and walks as Hammond wishes (just short of infinite). He has a large fenced backyard in which he can play with his new family, and we couldn’t imagine anything better for sweet Hammond. Felicitations (“congratulations” in French) to all!
Mona Lisa has a wonderful new home with a family of her very own! Her new home includes a securely fenced yard and someone who will be home most of the day. Mona Lisa loves children and her new family’s kiddos are at a good age to learn about the responsibility of having a dog. Mona Lisa will get to accompany the family when they walk to school in the mornings and we know Mona will enjoy that immensely! Keep smiling, ML!
Orzo has found his dream home! This boy couldn’t have asked or hoped for a better match if he tried. Apart from the fact that his new family is aware of all the quirks and issues that can come with a Frenchie, they are committed to keeping his diet the same and continuing to work on his allergies. He will have a home with a young, active fur sibling and three human siblings. All this comes with a fenced yard to explore and someone to give him mid-day love!
Ozzy has stepped off the Crazy Train and into a new home with his foster mom. A senior dog whose elderly owner could no longer take care of him and his sister, he was placed in boarding, separated from his sister, and finally surrendered to FBRN. In three months, he has formed a new band with his two new adoptive dog siblings who love playing the big backyard to an appreciative home crowd. His audience rarely leaves for more than a few hours, and is already a fan of Frenchies and well-versed in the intricacies of allergy issues. It’s no wonder that in such a short time, he is ready to say: mama, I’m coming home!
Cue the fireworks, Sparkle has found her forever home! This spunky, pint-sized beauty was looking for just the right home with someone to keep her company as much of the day as possible. And, boy, did they deliver! Sparkle’s new parents will be home with her most of the time and have a huge fenced yard to play fetch to her heart’s content. She is an only dog, which will help considerably with Sparkle’s food aggression. We think Sparkle has added a twinkle to her new family’s eyes and we couldn’t be happier for them!
Aquitaine has found the perfect forever home! This golden girl will have a Frenchie fur sibling to hang out with and a stay-at-home mom to keep an eye on her all day. Aquitaine’s new mom is familiar with the medical issues that can arise with Frenchies and is fully prepared for Aquitaine. This pretty princess will be able to go on short walks multiple times a day for potty breaks, which will be great for her. Her new family’s household routine fits perfectly with Aquitaine’s personality – not much activity and low key. So far Aquitaine is fitting right in with her new family and seems as happy as can be. Congrats to you all!
The Gravy boat has sailed into his final port with his foster-turned-adoptive family! When Gravy first came into FBRN, he was underweight and diagnosed paraplegic. While in foster care, he not only gained weight but also strength and mobility. With his foster parents’ love and patience, Gravy has come such a long way. He even went hiking with his canine brother! Who would have thought it, Gravy hiking!? We couldn’t be happier for Gravy and his new family. His mom once said, “I’ve almost forgotten what it was like to live without him.” Now she won’t ever have to remember. Happy Tails, Gravy!
Apparently, the applicants for Groucho knew the secret word, because the duck dropped down and presented them with the adorable Groucho. Groucho’s new forever home was willing to give an old frog a chance. His new forever family realized their love for him when they saw his picture. He scored big with his new family when he got a couple that is home during the day and will take wonderful care of him. There is also a nice yard for him lounge around in or explore if his heart desires. Congrats to Groucho for really taking home the award when it came to finding this family.
From king of the road to king of his own castle, Houdini has traded in his wandering days and is now known as “Romeo”. He has a lovely home with a securely fenced yard and lots of green grass to roll around in. His new parents are semi retired and have plenty of time to spend with their boy. Mom has previous obedience training experience and can put that to good use continuing Romeo’s education on how to be a beloved household member.
Ahh, the slow intro. We love it because it works. Like, it really works. But we also don’t love it because it requires patience, persistence, consistency, and patience (Many of us are not known for our patience.) But fortunately for Ivan, his humans have patience to spare. This sweet, grumpy, particular older gentleman was being fostered by a couple who was willing to do what it took to ensure that he settled in as smoothly as possible. In this case, “what it took” was a month-long slow intro process. Ivan, not known for his love of other dogs, learned to coexist peacefully with his English Bulldog compatriots. His foster family realized that Ivan was already home. We are thrilled that Ivan is home for good and wish him and his family many happy years together.
Welcome home, Lawrence! This handsome fellow found just the right spot with his new mom, dad and very own Frenchie sister to call his own. Lawrence’s parents are well-versed in the allergy department and his mom is even home most of the day to keep him company. That’s what Lawrence is most excited about in his new forever home. Love at first sight has struck once again! All our best to the happy family!
Oh, Mike, you are home at last! If you followed Mike’s story over the last few months, you’ve read all about the rough two years of life for this lovable guy. All that is behind him now as he has planted his bed in the perfect home. Mike has a lot of needs, given his medical history. In addition to previous short nose experience, this family lives near a specialty clinic and are quite prepared for keeping careful watch over Mike. In his new one-level home that will help Mike stay mobile, he has a number of human siblings to dote on him. Ever the ladies man, Mike also has a Frenchie sister to keep him on his toes and maintain his charm skills. We are thrilled for Mike and his new family!
Rhys’s new forever family read his story and it touched their hearts. They were willing to drive many miles to scoop him up and take him back to their home. They are familiar with dogs that have allergies and the daily management needs that go along with them. They lead a quiet life where one person will be home with him almost all the time to help with his separation anxiety. Can you say, “jackpot?!” In this awesome deal Rhys also gets a middle-aged English Bulldog sibling and an older Frenchton sibling. There is a human sibling in college, making this a perfect kid free arrangement for Rhys.
Rhys can look forward to spending the rest of his time lounging around and soaking up the love. Congratulations, Rhys!
Einstein won the Nobel prize in being lovable, because his foster family has decided that they will keep him! It seems that this quirky guy won them over while they were figuring out a diet that didn’t upset his tummy and a calm, stable routine that gave him confidence. He became part of the family, and they all agreed that he should stay with them — a smart choice!
Look out folks, Eliza will be living large in the big city. This girl found a forever home with a patio and yard in the middle of the city. Her new forever mom has previous experience managing allergies and feeding a raw diet. Eliza will got to soak up all the attention as she will get to travel. Also, her new mom plans to take her to the office sometimes and has a flexible schedule. Her forever mom was so excited when she was told that Eliza would come to live with her, that she shed tears of joy. We couldn’t have asked for a better home for Eliza!
Falkor is an older Frenchie with a few minor medical issues and we’re thrilled to report that he has found a perfect forever home! His new dad works from home and also has family that lives right next door. This means that Falkor will always have friends close by and will never have to spend much time alone. What a wonderful match for this older gentleman!
Our southern belle, Gigi, has found her forever home up north. She will have to adjust to the cold weather and maybe even that thing called snow. At least her summers will be much milder than they were in the south. Gigi hit the forever family jackpot because hers has experience with special needs fur children. Her new mom even made Gigi a very special blanket to keep those pesky human skin cells away from her. Once Gigi got to her forever home she felt comfortable enough to run in and pick up a toy and was ready to play. Gigi has finally found her happily ever after.
Have you heard the old adage about “saving the best for last”? Well, gorgeous black-masked fawn Kira apparently has, and that’s just what she did. Young Kira is a quirky lass who has many, shall we say, “strong opinions” about the people and dogs around her. A dog like Kira needs an equally strong human to provide structure and guidance so she can live her best life. Fortunately, Kira has found exactly that with her foster mom, who decided to make it official and apply to adopt Kira. Kira’s mom reports that she is doing well in obedience school, and we have no doubt that she will continue to benefit from the consistency and boundaries that her mom provides. When it’s right, it’s right, and Kira is right at home, right now and forever.
Marty’s new family are devoted Frenchie lovers with tons of brachcephalic experience. Marty will have an older pug brother to learn the ropes from and two dads to keep him busy with his beloved tennis balls. He will get lots of exercise, love and boundaries which is exactly what he needs. They are able to provide for his every need and have lots of experience with Frenchie issues. His dads made the long commute from Georgia and it was love at first sight. He will be living the good life as a southern frog!
The minute Rockford met his new mom and dad, it was evident they were all smitten with each other! Rockford could not get enough belly rubs from Dad and cuddles from Mom. Rockford will be their only dog and since Mom works from home, Rockford will have all the time and attention he could need. They have a great home and yard and understand Rockford’s needs and limitations and will tailor their life to fit him. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect forever home!
Challenging boy Ron Swanson has found his forever home, and we think Ron has finally hit the jackpot. His new mom and dad have a nice backyard, no kids, and no other animals. They also have previous experience with naughty pups, so they are willing and able to continue his training. His mom works from home so he won’t have to be without his favorite thing in the whole wide world: people (with food coming in a close second). Little does he know, they have already signed him up for a behavioral doggy class through a local shelter but he’ll be eating out of the palm of their hands in no time. Here’s to a lifetime of love and lots of meaty snacks!
Silver Fox’s adoptive family has extensive experience with IVDD as well as brachycepalic breeds. Currently they have a mellow Frenchton who is ready for a fur brother! Mom and Dad both have flexible schedules which means at least one of them will be home most of the time. As such, they are a perfect fit and we’re thrilled for Silver Fox and his new family!
Sweetart has found her happily ever after! Her two new dads were waiting for just the right dog. Sweetart was wary of strangers, but she knew right away that she was finally home. In this case, she’ll be the only dog in a city home with a fenced yard and someone to keep her company all day. Her new family is devoted to their pets and has Frenchie experience, so they’ll be able to give her the best life possible. Sweetart was picky, but waiting sometimes pays off. Congratulations, Sweetart!
We say it often around here: all a foster dog needs is one perfect application. Tucker-watchers will recall that he was not the biggest fan of other dogs; he would do best as an only. But as you might imagine, finding a Frenchie-seeking home that was free of current dogs AND willing to forgo one of life’s greatest pleasures – owning multiple Frenchies – was a challenge.
Undaunted, FBRN forged ahead, and sure enough! One perfect application came in! Tucker’s new dad is the ideal combination of dog-experienced, patient, dedicated and willing to give Tucker the home and structure he needs to be comfortable and happy and live his best life. Tucker himself seemed to know Dan was The Guy soon after they met during the home visit. He warmed up to Dan right away, and it wasn’t long before Tucker was settling in for good with his new dad. Now they’re just two dapper gents, living the good life together in the Midwest. Happy life, you two!
Little ditty ’bout a dog named Diane…Found her forever home in Illinois land!
It’s true–our roly-poly sweetheart is home where she belongs, with a loving family who has the experience and know-how to manage her health conditions. They are committed to helping Diane safely lose weight, and since their resident Frenchie (named Jack!) also has severe allergies, they know just what it takes to keep those itchies at bay. We can’t wait to hear more about the adventures of Jack and Diane!
We are so excited to announce that Dinah has found the perfect forever family! Dinah’s new family was chosen because they have previous experience with rescued puppy mill Frenchies and are sensitive to her special needs. Dinah will be the oldest dog in the household but will have other younger pups around to keep her well socialized. This sweet Velcro girl will also have a family member at home with her all day she can follow around the house and cuddle with whenever she pleases. We are so happy for little Dinah and her new family. Congratulations, Dinah!
Pele scored a big goal with his new forever family! Though he had many applicants, it was obvious that these humans were the right ones. His new people are already Frenchie-experienced, and Pele’s new doggie sibling is with a dog with allergies, just like him. Allergies can be trouble, but can be manageable with the right treatment and lifestyle. They’ve asked all the questions and done their research. They’ll even make his food from scratch!
His new home will provide a perfect environment for a highly social guy like Pele. He’ll always have company, with one work-at-home parent. The resident dog is part of a French bulldog playgroup, so he’ll have lots of chances to make friends. With this family, it sounds like Pele’s entered the Hall of Fame.
We are so happy to share that Tristessa has moved on to her forever home. Her new dad volunteers at the local Humane Society and has lots of experience with rescue dogs. Her new family also has experience managing skin allergies which is great for this little lady. Tessa’s new family has another dog that she can cuddle and play with all day long. She will even be able to go to work with her new dad. We are thrilled that Tessa is getting all the attention and adoration that she deserves. Congrats, Tristessa!
After about 3 years with FBRN and a couple of unsuccessful adoptions, we’re pleased to report that Barbra has found her forever home! This gorgeous little stinker will continue to live the life of luxury in her foster home. Barbra is so delighted that we suspect this could have been her plan all along! Congratulations to Barbra and her forever family. We look forward to hearing about Barbra’s future adventures!
Petite Brioche has found her family! Both of her adoptive people work in the medical field, so they are comfortable dealing with Brioche’s allergies. And this young couple have schedules that make it easy for her to have one of them around to keep her company. And there’s lots to do! They live in a very dog-friendly apartment complex, close to two dog parks. She’ll have all the love and attention for herself, being an only pet. Guarding food, toys and beds was a problem for her at her foster home, so this is ideal. Welcome home, Brioche!
Everyone’s favorite success story, Elbert, has finally found his forever home! After fighting offall of the things that itched and then growing his fur back, he set out to find a new home. His new forever home just bought a house mainly for their Frenchies. They are experienced Frenchie owners who are committed to giving Elbert the best life possible. His new family is active and Elbert will have a fur brother that is his size. We wish Elbert nothing but happiness and belly rubs in his forever home.
Ezekiel — Zeke — came to us as a HUGE 30-lb puppy. Like most puppies, he needed folks who were willing to teach him to be a good dog, and to deal with the peculiar need of French bulldogs to do exactly what they want, whenever they want. Zeke’s new family has lots of Frenchie experience, as adopters of another FBRN grad last year. This family is quite active, which is perfect to keep up with an energetic puppy. There’ll be someone home at all times to guide him through the usual puppy training period, and a big brother to play and snuggle with! Zeke’s a lucky puppy to land such an ideal home!
Gotham’s adopters are experienced and dedicated frog parents! They both work from home and lead an extremely active lifestyle, with lots of opportunities for walks and other exciting adventures. They also have a 1.5 year old Frenchie named Crumpet who can’t wait to do zoomies in their big fenced yard with “little brother” Gotham!
Griff is loving life with his new forever family! His new mom works part time as a vet tech and Griff gets to accompany her to the office. He is thrilled to be with or near his favorite person 24/7 and as an added bonus, there is a special area for employee pets where Griff can mingle and make new fur-friends! Griff’s new family has lots of experience with flat-faced dogs and is very familiar with the challenges and rewards of brachycephalic breeds. We couldn’t be happier with this match. Way to go Griff!
Big boy Magnus has had a long medical journey as a foster dog with inflammatory bowel disease. Through surgery and medication and experimenting with his diet, he finally stabilized after several months of care. Once he was available for adoption, we knew he would need a dedicated home to manage his condition, and boy did he hit the jackpot! His new people are already Frenchie experienced, and they are cooking up his special meals and are up for the challenge of keeping an eye on his tummy issues. Magnus will have three new dog siblings and lots of love in his new home. He’s come a long way, but he has a family now to be there for him. They’ll get all his cuddles and kisses in return.
After a year in foster care, Melvin has finally found his forever home! His new mom only works about 8 hours a week and his two-legged teenage siblings are home schooled which means they can give Melvin the attention he needs while they study. The family also has experience with special-needs dogs and were eager to learn more about Melvin’s medical issues and how they could best accommodate him. Because a fenced-in yard was a requirement, the family put up a temporary fence and plan on building a wooden privacy fence in the spring just for him. We don’t think Melvin could have found a better fit if he had paw-picked the application himself. Congratulations to all!
Naomi came to rescue with severe allergies her people could no longer afford to treat. Bare patches of skin, terrible itchy ears — this girl needed help! She had surgery for her ears and a nose job to help her breathe a little easier. Once she recovered, we put her profile out to seek her forever family. We found some great folks down South who have experience with Frenchies and their issues, and they’ll be up for keeping Naomi healthy and happy. They are an active bunch, so they’ll be able to keep up with this little one’s antics!
We are so happy to share that Scottie has a wonderful new family with two little girls and two other pups to play with. Her new family has lots of dog experience and is excited to begin training Scottie so that she may even get to participate in junior handler dog shows! How exciting, even a gal that has been down on her luck can make it into the show ring (junior handlers can show “fixed” dogs). Scottie will also go to work with her new mom and will get several long walks every day. Scottie’s new family’s experience with training dogs, adopting adult dogs, and familiarity with Scottie’s perks and drawbacks made them the best fit for her. Congratulations to Scottie and her new family!
Our perfectly sweet little cream puff, Camus, has been adopted! His new forever dad not only has previous Frenchie experience but also experience with pups who have a quirk or two. Camus will be the only animal in his new household which means he will never have to share his toys, his food, or his affections. There won’t be any visitors that even resemble an animal, except maybe Camus’ favorite kind: humans! We think this is a great match. Congratulations and happy tails!
Little lady Leigh, lover of children and human affection, now has plenty of both! This lucky girl now has not one, but TWO girls to call her own! In her former life, Leigh wasn’t fond of being left alone, but she doesn’t need to worry about that anymore. Her new mom stays at home, providing lots of love and attention to Leigh while she waits for her girl duo to return home after school. She has a fenced back yard to sunbathe in, and with no other animals in the home, every bit of the attention spotlight. Well played, Leigh. Well played, indeed.
Pretty, pretty Peggy Sue has found love so rare and true in her new forever home. Not only does her new mom bake her allergy-safe treats but Peggy Sue is now an only dog and only child! Her new mom is not afraid of a challenge and is committed to continue to work on Miss Peggy’s guarding tendencies. They both love exploring so she will get plenty of walks and car rides. We’re so happy for Peggy Sue and we count on her shining like the star that she knows she is. Congrats to all.
Our handsome little nut has been adopted, and Pistachio’s new forever family is a great match! They are up to the task of working with Pistachio on his dog reactivity. They have a large fenced yard where Pistachio can play safely. And best of all, Pistachio will be an only pet. But it gets better! Since his new mom is retired, Pistachio will get to spend his days at home with his new momma. We’re so thrilled when such a perfect match is made. Congratulations to Pistachio and his new family!
