Story
Spring may have come and gone, but the sweetest Blossom is just beginning to bloom! This adorable two-year-old girl came to FBRN from a commercial breeding facility and is now ready to plant her paws in a forever home filled with love.
Blossom is a happy, playful pup with plenty of youthful energy. She loves zooming around the yard, playing with her foster siblings, and keeping a watchful eye out for rabbits and squirrels to chase. Because she’s such an enthusiastic explorer, a securely fenced yard is a must. One of the highlights of her day is her morning walk, and the moment she sees her leash, her whole body wiggles with excitement!
Inside the house, Blossom is just as entertaining. She’s always up for a game with her favorite squeaky tennis ball, a spirited tug-of-war, or carrying a toy around as if it’s her prized possession. She’s also your little shadow, happily following her favorite people from room to room. After all that fun, she’s more than ready to curl up for a cozy nap or snuggle into a welcoming lap.
Blossom is both house-trained and crate-trained, which is a huge accomplishment considering she wasn’t when she first arrived in foster care. She prefers to take her time finding just the right spot to do her business, so having a yard is important for her. While she enjoys her daily walks, she’s never chosen them as bathroom breaks.
Her crate door is left open, and she happily uses it as her own little bedroom. Blossom does have one funny quirk: dog beds and blankets occasionally become victims of her decorating skills! She may nibble a hole here or there, but she’s perfectly content to curl up on them afterward. Thankfully, your furniture and household belongings aren’t on her list of chew toys.
Blossom would thrive with a family or an individual who enjoys an active, affectionate companion. She’d especially love having another playful dog to romp around with, and having a canine buddy can help keep her company when you’re away. Since she’s still a little puppy-like with occasional mouthiness and excited jumping, she’d do best in a home with older children. She’d also appreciate someone who can stop by midday or a schedule that doesn’t leave her alone for long stretches.
Blossom’s foster mom had this to say about her: “Blossom has a big heart and an even bigger personality. She greets each day with enthusiasm and loves life, whether she is playing with her foster siblings, snuggling with someone on the couch, playing with her toys or exploring the yard. Whoever adopts Blossom will be lucky to have her in their life.”

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
