“We affectionately refer to Bobbi as ‘Pancake’ because as soon as she sees us she’s flat on her back requesting belly rubs. She’s smart, sweet, and so easy to train. She’s truly one of a kind and has so much love to give. We can’t wait for this new chapter her. We’ll miss her toe kisses, but we can’t wait for her to find her new best friend.”

Story
Big, beautiful Bobbi is in the HOUSE! Big in so many ways! BIG personality. BIG heart and BIG girl! In fact, in the Frenchie world, she would be known as a Grinchie (translation: giant Frenchie). She came from a home that did not have enough time for all of her sparkle. She has been part of her foster family since Thanksgiving and has wasted no time becoming the center of attention. She adores everyone she meets, humans and animals alike. In fact, cuddling with foster dad and her foster siblings is one of her favorite pastimes.
Four-year-old Bobbi is a quick study, seamlessly settling into her families daily routine. She’s crate trained and fully committed to her bedtime ritual, happily getting tucked in each night.
Bobbi has done very well with her three French bulldog foster siblings. She quickly learned the pack’s hierarchy and happily settled into a sidekick role. While she enjoys a bit of adventure, whether it is exploring the house, rooting around for stray kibble, or sniffing under the side gate for neighborhood pups on a walk, she is usually back in her favorite napping spot within about 15 minutes.
Bobbi is a happy camper and if you don’t give her a good enough hello, she tends to lick your toes until you bend over to give an acceptable pet. She can be a bit pushy when it comes to human attention, but she is a quick study and a pleaser. She’s always giving kisses, rolling over on her back for belly rubs and sometimes yelling at you from the crate because she CAN’T WAIT to see you. Honestly, she is just a big puppy, including putting things in her mouth to feel them out. You might need to mind what’s on the floor if you don’t want it thoroughly investigated.
Bobbi would thrive in a home with people who enjoy giving and receiving plenty of affection. She would do well with either a new or experienced Frenchie owner, and would be happiest in a house with a fenced yard where she can safely explore. While she could adapt to apartment living, she does appreciate having a bit more space to call her own.
In a home with other pets, a good midday walk would help keep her happy and balanced. If she is the only dog, she would do best with someone who works from home or has a hybrid schedule, as she truly enjoys having company throughout the day. She should not be allowed to jump on or off furniture.
Healthwise, Bobbi is relatively low maintenance for a Frenchie! Simply wiping her paws and skin folds has kept infections at bay. She received airways surgery while with FBRN.
Her foster parents will miss her and report, “We affectionately refer to Bobbi as ‘Pancake’ because as soon as she sees us she’s flat on her back requesting belly rubs. She’s smart, sweet, and so easy to train. She’s truly one of a kind and has so much love to give. We can’t wait for this new chapter her. We’ll miss her toe kisses, but we can’t wait for her to find her new best friend.”
Miss Bobbi is looking for her BIG happily ever after. There’s no doubt she’ll bring her future forever family BIG joy. Click this link to join the party. Bobbi is too big to fly and too slow to walk but she would love a car ride with her people.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
