As sweet as a springtime blossom, as bright and shiny as the first fruit of the year, our girl Cherry is ready to bloom into her best life.

Cherry is a petite 19 pounds, long-legged with a perfect muzzle (a gift for any Frenchie) that allows for easier breathing. This chocolatey gray beauty was heartbreakingly left overnight in a fenced area at a shelter. She came into FBRN slightly underweight, but loves to eat, so her foster mom is happily helping her add a few healthy pounds. Cherry can be a little timid at first, but she’s learning quickly that people are kind and safe. Once she trusts you, she is all in. She follows her foster mom everywhere and happily sleeps in her kennel through the night without a peep. She loves all the humans she meets, adults and kids alike.

Cherry has been getting along well with the resident dog in her foster home and is even sharing the space with two cats. But if they run, game on!! However, she is easy to distract from the chase. She is learning about play and dog snuggles from her resident canine pal. Cherry seems to genuinely enjoy staying close to her people and loves spending time in the fenced yard. She is smart as a whip, doing wonderfully well with house training – going right outside to take care of business.

This beauty can blossom just about anywhere – in the country or city. As long as her puppy curiosity and high energy can be satiated. She would be a great work from home pet, a delight in any office or a perfect stay at home pup as long as she has a good bathroom break and some playtime at lunch.
