She loves being a part of a pack, so another doggy friend at home would make her so happy, as long as they are clear that she is the Alpha. She enjoys kids, loves being part of the action, and would make a wonderful office buddy or lounging companion. Whether she’s lounging on the porch or tagging along for a car ride (she loves them), Daisy is happiest when she’s near her people. She also loves to play with her toys (especially her beloved Benebones), and she’s always up for a good snuggle session with her favorite humans. She is very food-motivated, which makes her both entertaining and eager to please.

Story
Who’s “fresh as a daisy” and ready to bloom in her forever home? Why, it’s Miss Daisy of course! This sweet five-year-old girl came to us from a commercial breeding facility and is finally getting the chance to experience the life every dog deserves. Daisy settled into her foster home in no time, as it provided her with a loving, safe space to discover what it means to simply be a dog.
When Daisy first arrived, she was dealing with several common Frenchie concerns, including itchy skin, allergies, minor fungal ear infections, and some healing wounds on her head. With veterinary care, patience, medicated baths and a new diet, she made wonderful progress and is now more comfortable in her own skin…literally and figuratively.
Daisy is a happy, active girl with a big personality. In just a couple months with her foster family, she has already become the ringleader of the pack! In true Daisy fashion, she believes every dog bed in the house belongs to her and isn’t shy about claiming them. She has a playful, mischievous side outside too, especially when exploring the yard. She would absolutely take the opportunity to explore beyond it if given the chance, so a secure fenced-in space is a must. Daisy has a strong prey drive and is fascinated by birds, squirrels, and other small animals, so she would do best in a home without cats or other small pets.
Daisy thrives on companionship and would love a home where someone is around most of the day.
An ideal home for Daisy would include a fenced yard, plenty of love and attention, and a family committed to continuing her happy and healthy. If you work outside the home, a midday visit from pet sitter would be highly recommended. However, if your workplace is hiring, Daisy would make a great office companion!
Daisy is truly a love bug with so much joy to give. Ready to give this special girl the amazing life she’s been waiting for? All you need to do is apply for her and be ready to pick her up should you be selected.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
