“My little burrito Helene is a bundle of squishy love! She is so cuddly, chunky and snorty. She will win you over with her little bug out eyes, side tongue that hangs out of her mouth, and cow lick on the back of her neck. Helene is very athletic and sociable but also a big snuggle bug! She is an easy keeper because she gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. She will keep you on your toes with her energy and needs to be kept busy, but that is to be expected for such a young dog. She is very healthy and requires minimal maintenance for minor seasonal skin itchiness. If you are looking for an outgoing, lovable, sociable girl, Helene is your perfect match!”

Our beautiful Helene has made it to the Available Page in record time! Not surprising, since she’s a regular speed demon, full of spunk, sass, and puppy energy. See if you can keep up!
This bright-eyed brindle beauty came to FBRN as an owner surrender. She bounded right into her foster home and hasn’t slowed down since! Helene is an athletic girl who thrives on long walks, playtime, and spirited games of fetch. Squeaky toys are her favorite, and she also loves romping about with her canine foster siblings. After playing hard, Helene likes to snuggle hard, and you won’t find a better buddy for a nap on the couch or a TV movie marathon.
Health-wise, Helene is in great shape, although she does suffer from those dreaded Frenchie allergies. A daily dose of Apoquel and fish oil, plus regular medicated baths, are just the trick to keeping her skin healthy and itch free. In addition, the inner lid of Helene’s left eye occasionally inverts and becomes visible. At present, no surgery or other medical intervention is warranted, and the lid can be gently massaged back into place. “Easy peasy!” says Helene.
Helene would also like you to know that she’s not just another pretty face – she has a big brain between those bat ears! She’s housebroken and crate-trained, and knows all of her basic commands (sit, stay, down, leave it). She even sits for her supper! What a good girl. The best, even.
The ideal home for Helene is one where she can get plenty of exercise and playtime, along with oodles of attention from her humans. A fenced yard would be fantastic, but multiple daily walks and games of fetch would also suffice. And while Helene would love it best if her people were home all day, she’d also be a fantastic office dog, content to chew a bone at your feet while you tap-tap away on your keyboard. Helene thinks kids are fantastic, although she might knock over a toddler with her zoomies, so littles over the age of 3 would be best. And Helene thinks other dogs are REALLY fantastic. She has a strong personality and can be a bit dominant, but not in a pushy way – she is content to be a pack member and adores the resident dogs in her foster home. Cats are a-ok as well, so long as they are tolerant and dog savvy. Helene plays well with kitties, but she’s been known to give chase when her feline foster sibling makes a run for it.
Helene’s foster mom is understandably smitten, and tells us, “My little burrito Helene is a bundle of squishy love! She is so cuddly, chunky and snorty.
