You see, he has some snags and imperfections. But it all adds to his industrial chic! Levi came to FBRN from a shelter in pretty rough shape. He had been found with double ear infections, raw pads and raw skin. He was also having issues due to food allergies with vomiting. In other words, he had been worn thin.

Since coming to FBRN, Levi has been put on special food, which has helped his tummy. He is on allergy medications which have helped clear up his skin and his ears. But, he seems to have hearing loss from the infections. Because of this, he needs a securely fenced yard and/or to be on a leash at all times. He also sometimes dribbles urine, even though he is a champ about doing his business outside. So he has some fancy Levi pants to wear around the house. And, as you would expect, his rough past has come with a bit of PTSD. Levi is a lover, but he struggles with anxiety. He would need a very patient, loving and understanding home where he can feel safe and supported. Quiet environments with slow introductions to new things will be key. Although he tolerates other dogs, he probably would be best in a home with just a human or two, who can stay home with him most of the day.
