“Lox is a very handsome young boy weighing in at about 16 pounds, and he’s bursting with personality and playful energy. This little guy is all fun, all day — he loves to run, play, and especially play fetch, which is his absolute favorite game. Once all that energy is out, he just wants to be the biggest snuggle bug! Lox adores his foster sister (also a Frenchie!) and would thrive in a home with a furry playmate close to his size. He’s looking for a companion who can match his zoomies, tolerate a high-energy puppy, and enjoy plenty of wrestle-and-chase sessions together. Because he’s still young, Lox will benefit from continued training, structure, and positive guidance to help him grow into the best boy he can be. He’s eager, smart, and has so much potential with the right family. Lox is also known for his signature Frenchie screams, so apartment life isn’t ideal — this boy needs a house where his excited vocals won’t disturb neighbors. If you’re looking for a loving, silly, energetic little companion who will keep you smiling and bring nonstop joy into your home, Lox is ready to meet you. He’s full of heart, full of enthusiasm, and full of love and cuddles to give. He cannot wait to find his furever family to snuggle into bed with at the end of the night.”

Story
Please welcome Lox to the Available page! Lox is a six-month-old puppy who is equal parts energy, charm, and cuddle bug. This handsome little guy weighs about 16 pounds and is already packed with personality.
Lox came to FBRN after his previous owner realized that puppyhood comes with more vet visits than expected. Once in foster care, a simple diet change resolved the concerns that were initially thought to be medical, and Lox has been thriving ever since. He was recently neutered and received a clean bill of health from his vet. His foster family reports that he is 95% of the way there with potty training, but like with most puppies it is still a work in progress and his adoptive family should keep him on a routine.
This little guy has a lot of pep in his step and would love a home that can keep up. Lox is playful, enthusiastic, and especially obsessed with fetch. He plays hard, loves to wrestle, and does best with dogs close to his size who enjoy an energetic playmate. He is deeply attached to his foster Frenchie sister and would truly flourish in a home with another confident, playful dog to help burn off his puppy energy and provide companionship.
Once Lox gets his zoomies out, he happily transforms into a world class snuggler. He loves couch time, bedtime cuddles, and sleeping under the covers with his people. He is affectionate, sweet, and eager to be close to his humans whenever possible.
Lox would do best in a house rather than an apartment, as he is noise sensitive and not shy about expressing his feelings with classic Frenchie vocals. A fenced yard is preferred, and a family who can provide structure, continued training, and regular potty breaks will help him continue to grow into a well-mannered adult. He has done well with children he has met and enjoys making new friends, both two legged and four legged.

Given his propensity to sing loudly, Lox is not a good candidate to fly. So if chosen, you’ll have to make your way to New Jersey.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
