“This little peanut is going to be hard to give up! Paloma is your typical Frenchie puppy – a sweet but stubborn little girl. She absolutely loves her Frenchie foster sister and has become her little shadow. She also LOVES everyone she meets and wants all the attention she can get! When on walks she gets upset when people don’t stop to say hi. She is the perfect mix of a ball of energy and master snuggler on the couch. Her favorite activity is getting crazy zoomies outside, coming inside for more zoomies then playing with every toy she can find. She is a vocal player so she will show off her “mighty” bark and a little play growl. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this feisty little girl will have endless kisses, snuggles and laughs.”

Story
No, you’re not watching a rerun on TV Land so don’t touch that dial (does anyone even have a dial TV anymore?)! This is the episode where Paloma, the Princess pup of FBRN, graduates from her foster home to become the queen of her own castle! Having been born into FBRN foster care, she has grown into a healthy young pup who is ready for the next chapter.
Her new family must be ready for puppy life and all that it entails. Paloma is an active puppy and potty training is a work in progress. She does very well when taken out every 4-5 hours but still has accidents overnight or when left for more than, you guessed it, 4-5 hours. She absolutely adores her Frenchie foster sibling, follows her everywhere and even naps on top of her. She would very much enjoy a family who has a similar-size dog to play with and use as a pillow; larger dogs are a little scary for this petite princess.
While she doesn’t live with any kids, she has met foster mom’s friends’ young children, ages 2-6 years, and neighborhood kids, ages 10-15 years and she absolutely loves them! She just wants to shower them with kisses, but she also wants to steal all their food because she thinks your food is her food. So please keep that in mind. If you have very young ones, supervision will be required to keep puppy shenanigans at bay.
Paloma loves bones and stuffies! And she really enjoys having a fenced back yard because she can run around like the wind with the resident canine. But she also loves going on walks in her harness so, while a fenced yard is a bonus, it is not a requirement. She is probably still too young to be an office dog, unless it is a home office, but could very well grow up to be one. She’s not enamored with crates but does very well in an X-pen so if you can come home on your lunch break, you don’t have to be a SAHM/D to apply.
Foster mom wants Paloma’s fans to know, “This little peanut is going to be hard to give up! Paloma is your typical Frenchie puppy – a sweet but stubborn little girl. So if you have the time and energy to devote to a puppy and ensure she continues on the right track from puppyhood to doghood, send in your application for Paloma ASAP. Puppies are very popular and who wouldn’t want their very own Princess of FBRN? Just be prepared to travel to New Jersey to pick her up (not to be confused with Bel Aire).
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
