Story
It might not be Valentine’s Day, but our little love bug Sienna has officially made her way to the Available page. Sienna came to FBRN after being surrendered by her previous owner. Before arriving, she had a litter or two of puppies and also endured an attack by another dog in the home. Despite her difficult past, Sienna is ready to focus on brighter days ahead.
If affection were an Olympic sport, Sienna would be bringing home the gold. This sweet girl is always happy to roll over for a belly rub or gently paw at you when she decides it is time for more attention. She loves spending time with her people and is happiest when she can be close by.
Sienna enjoys her daily walks, though she firmly believes moderation is key. In true Frenchie fashion, one trip around the block is usually plenty before she’s ready to head home and relax. While out and about, she keeps a close eye on the local wildlife. Birds, squirrels, and other critters are endlessly fascinating, and she would happily investigate them further if given the opportunity. Because of this, a securely fenced yard is preferred.
When it comes to other dogs, Sienna appreciates companions who share her laid back outlook on life. She can be a bit of a bossy lady and likes things done her way, so she would do best with a calm, easygoing dog who doesn’t mind letting her think she’s in charge. She has successfully lived with cats and does well with them. Older, respectful children who understand her needs would also be a good fit.
Sienna’s ideal home would include a fenced yard for exploring, a relaxed canine companion to lounge with, and someone who can let her outside frequently throughout the day. She is also quite opinionated about car travel. If you’re planning a road trip, don’t forget to bring a crate. Leave it behind and you may suddenly discover you have an unexpected third passenger riding shotgun.
When life feels overwhelming, Sienna finds comfort in her crate and will retreat there to decompress. The rest of the time, she is more than happy to claim a spot on the couch next to her favorite human. Sienna is still a work in progress with potty training and currently wears a reusable diaper, as she continues to have occasional accidents and may have some degree of incontinence.
Sienna has plenty of love to give and is looking for a family that will appreciate her sweet nature, her quirky personality, and her desire to be part of the action. If you’re searching for a devoted companion with just the right amount of sass, Sienna may be your perfect match.
Sienna’s foster mom has this to say about her: “Sienna deserves a loving home who will have the patience to work with her potty training. She loves to snuggle and be loved. She is one of the sweetest frenchies and deserves her golden years with a comfy couch, a yard to be free in and sometimes sun bath, lots of pets and snuggles.”
if you think you can give Sienna what she’s missing, then all you need to do is be ready to come pick her up, should you be selected as her new family!
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
