Please welcome one-year-old Corey to FBRN. This handsome boy was found as a stray and brought to a shelter before making his way into rescue, where he is now getting the care he needs and settling into foster life.

So far, Corey is proving to be an easygoing and well-mannered companion. He enjoys the company of other dogs and reads them well, knowing when it is time to play and when to give them space. He is a big fan of fetch and will happily chase toys for as long as you are willing to throw them.

Corey is equally fond of his people and prefers to stay close by. He does well with kids, rides nicely in the car, and is quiet and relaxed in his crate. Bath time is not at the top of his list, but he handles it with quiet patience.

Corey has been diagnosed with pulmonic stenosis, a heart condition, but at this time he does not require medication. He will remain on general activity restrictions for now and is scheduled to be neutered soon. He also has a small hot spot on his neck that is being treated.
