Cue the Sarah McLaughlin music because new foster Frenchie Argos has had one heck of a journey thus far! At 10+ years old, this frosty-faced senior was rescued by a Good Samaritan from a neglectful situation. And even though she provided love and a safe landing, she knew he needed more medical attention than she could afford. So this lovely lady not only saved Argos by getting him out of his terrible environment but twice by surrendering him to FBRN for ongoing medical care.

Now Argos’ new FBRN foster home will take over the next leg of his journey. And it seems he packed quite heavily for this new voyage, but instead of clothes and toiletries, his baggage is unfortunately full of medical issues. He is blind, partially deaf, incontinent, has some bleeding from the rectum and has numerous dental issues. He has had his first vet visit and we will have a solid plan for him as soon as his test results come back. Aside from his extensive medical history, Argos is a very sweet old man. He gets along well with his two Frenchie foster siblings and so far is very interested in the cat. He has been learning the lay of the land inside the house and navigating more frequently *around* furniture and objects rather than *into* them but wears a head halo when on walks outside to keep him from bumping into things (we’re looking at you mister fire hydrant).
