Ringing in the New Year for 2026 is Bently! This handsome five-year-old came into FBRN’s care after being found abandoned as a stray. With his striking black coat accented by cream and tan markings on his cheeks and eyebrows, Bently is as charming as he is distinctive.

Bently has some work ahead of him as he continues his medical journey. He is being treated for skin issues and a UTI, is working on potty training, and has started supplements to help manage arthritis and possible hip dysplasia. His veterinarian has also confirmed a congenital spinal abnormality that affects his hind end gait, but Bently does not let that slow him down. It is still full speed ahead for this resilient guy.

In his foster home, Bently is learning the ropes and taking things one step at a time. He is friendly, eager for affection, and always happy to soak up love and attention. He could also use a few extra snacks to help him put on a little more weight, something he is more than willing to work on.
