Please welcome three-year-old Joshy to FBRN! This handsome brindle boy was found as a stray in Miami suffering from heat stroke, with a dangerously high temperature of 106.5 degrees. Thankfully, the shelter was able to stabilize him and treat him for an upper respiratory infection. Joshy was later adopted but sadly returned, likely due to his breathing difficulties.

The good news is that Joshy recently had his BOAS surgery and neuter, and he is already breathing so much more comfortably! His primary veterinarian has also confirmed that he is healthy, and this boy is ready to enjoy life with a little less effort spent catching his breath.

So far, Joshy has been an easygoing and well-mannered houseguest. He is potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows how to sit. He is also a certified Velcro Frenchie who loves attention and follows his foster mom everywhere. With his oversized head and neck and adorable underbite, he has plenty of personality packed into one handsome package.

Joshy is still settling into foster life, but he is already making himself right at home. After everything he has been through, it is wonderful to see him feeling better and showing off the sweet, affectionate boy he is.
