About Lydia
Spring has arrived and so has baby Lydia! This eight-month-old was surrendered to an animal hospital after her owners realized she was sick. After running tests, Lydia was diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. This disease causes the body to attack and destroy its own red blood cells. Lydia will be seen by an internal medicine doctor to determine a long-term plan. While there is no cure for the IMHA, we believe Lydia will grow old and live the spoiled life that all Frenchies deserve!
Despite her ailments, Lydia is your typical Frenchie puppy. She has attached herself to her foster dad and wants to spend all day in his arms! Lydia is also a fan of toys and enjoys playing with her Frenchie foster siblings. Lydia does well in a crate but has proven to be a bit of an escape artist when it comes to being confined in a play pen.
This beautiful little brindle girl is sure to have many trips to the vet ahead of her and will need some help covering those veterinary costs (as well as a few snacks and toys). To sponsor Lydia, please place your paw on the “donate” button next to her photo. Many thanks from FBRN and baby Lydia!
