Introducing sweet Magnolia, who is beginning to discover just how wonderful life can be after being surrendered to FBRN from a commercial breeding facility. She has settled beautifully into foster care and is proving to be the most delightful houseguest. Her favorite pastime is watching the world go by. Whether she’s relaxing outside or gazing out the door or window, she’s happiest when she can keep an eye on nature and soak in all the sights and sounds around her. It’s easy to imagine she’s making up for all the things she never had the chance to experience before.

She’s wonderfully well-behaved in the home. When her foster mom is home, Magnolia has free run of the basement and has never gotten into anything she shouldn’t. Whenever her foster mom opens the door, she offers her the sweetest welcome imaginable – a joyful blur of wiggles, spins, and pure happiness. As you might have guessed, Magnolia is also the perfect companion. Whether her foster mom is working on a project or relaxing with a TV marathon, she’s always close by…content just to be near her favorite person. She has met the resident dogs through a fence with a calm curiosity, suggesting she may do well with respectful canine companions. The only exception to her “perfect guest” status is that she’s not a fan of the resident cat, so a feline-free home will be the best fit for her.

Like many former breeding dogs, Magnolia is still discovering how to simply be a dog. Toys, puzzles, and enrichment activities are all brand-new concepts, and she’s taking her time learning what they’re all about. Watching her confidence grow as she experiences these simple joys will be one of the most rewarding parts of her journey for her foster mom and eventually forever family!
