While he might not be dark and brooding like his namesake, this three-year-old cream-colored cutie is ready to pen a much happier story. Please welcome Poe, FBRN’s newest gentleman!

Poe came to FBRN when the cost of his care became too much for his previous owner, but he’s settling in well in his foster home. At the moment, this handsome fellow is focusing on getting his ears treated and feeling better – they’ve been causing him quite a bit of discomfort, so he’s not too fond of head pats just yet.

His foster mom says Poe might just be one of the longest and softest Frenchies she’s ever met, and we have no doubt he’ll soon be melting into cuddles once he’s feeling tip-top again. Despite his sore ears, Poe’s playful spirit is shining through, and he’s eager to share his affection (and his poetry) with anyone who crosses his path.
