RUMI has it – there’s a new girl in town! Rumi is a beautiful girl who spent the first six years of her life making babies, but she has left that life behind. Rumi was surrendered by a commercial breeder and is looking forward to spending the rest of her days in the lap of luxury (aka human).

Rumi is settling in nicely with her foster family and loves to go on short walks in the neighborhood. She is eager to find her new home, walking up each driveway she passes to see if it is the perfect fit. Foster mom says she is currently a full-figured girl, but with all of this exercise, she will have her body-ody back soon. RUMI also has it that Rumi hasn’t been too fond of other female dogs in the past, but so far, she loves her young foster brother and is very patient and tender with him.

Rumi came to FBRN with an injured eye, which appears to not have any vision. She will be going to the vet soon to have this checked out and to put her baby-making days permanently behind her. Until then, she will be getting used to family life and RUMI-nating about her future home.
