Ohhhh, Sandy! Our newest summer love is a sweet, joyful girl who’s built more like a Corgi than a Frenchie and is an expert in the fine art of snuggling. We think it won’t be long before this black-masked darling finds a forever home of her very own.

Sandy is six years old and seems to be in good health, but she’ll be getting a thorough checkup at the vet’s to make sure that she’s as healthy on the inside as beautiful on the outside. In the meantime, she’s soaking up all the love and pets in her foster home. Sandy is definitely happiest when she’s with her person, but she’s a confident girl who isn’t clingy. She’s a great lover of chew toys and exploring the backyard, where she takes her time to sniff the flowers (and the trees, and the grass, and everything there is to be sniffed!) She had a few accidents when she first arrived in foster care, but a regular potty schedule has greatly improved her housebreaking skills, and we expect this smart girl will have it entirely figured out in the very near future.
