This handsome hunk is around three years old and was surrendered to FBRN when his former family could no longer provide the care he needed. But don’t worry—he’s in great hands now, and we’re already head over heels for this big, sweet boy!

Physically, Tortuga is in great shape. We’ve heard reports of some allergies and a history of eye ulcers, so we’ll be getting those checked out at the vet. So far, we haven’t noticed any significant itching or discomfort, but we’ll be keeping an eye on things. He also has an elongated soft palate, which occasionally causes some mild vomiting, but nothing unmanageable. And while he’s currently unaltered, that will be taken care of soon.

Now, let’s talk about temperament, because this guy is an absolute gem. Tortuga is housebroken (yay for no accidents!), crate-trained, and a dream on a leash—no pulling or tugging, just a steady, polite pace. He’s also a total lovebug with his foster family’s four-year-old daughter and two-year-old pittie sibling, proving he has that perfect family-dog vibe. He’s a bigger Frenchie, but don’t worry—he’s not overweight, just a solid, healthy dude. His only quirk? He’s not a fan of nail trims, so we’ll be working on that.

All in all, Tortuga is pretty much a dreamboat—sweet, well-behaved, and ready to find his forever family.
