Cute as a button and sweet as a purple yam, it’s Ube! Her past may be a mystery, but we know her future is bright.

Ube was found wandering in a Walmart parking lot and brought the local shelter. After nobody showed up to claim her, the kind folks at the shelter spayed her and widened her nares (a.k.a. the Frenchie Nose Job) before turning her over to FBRN.

Ube is about six years old, and it looks like she’s had at least one litter of pups. She was understandably a little bewildered during her first few days in foster care, but now that she’s had a chance to decompress, her personality is starting to shine through. Ube is a friendly and curious girl who loves human attention, and her little underbite just makes her that much more endearing (if such a thing was even possible!)
