Pip is an active puppy and training is a work in progress.
Squee! Puppy Ears!! The rest of Pip is pretty cute too and he’s looking for a forever home! Pip was surrendered by his previous family when they realized that their older dog was not going to tolerate a boisterous puppy. FBRN’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home French Bulldogs in need and we are happy to help find a perfect forever home for this handsome little guy!
Pip is great with everyone he meets. Kids, cats, other dogs…it doesn’t matter to Pip! He is excited and happy ALL of the time. Pip has lots of energy and is very active. Younger or more active canine companions would be great! Pip loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home. He also loves Kong toys. The Kong tire is his favorite!
We have Great Expectations for Pip's prospects, partly because Pip would do well in a variety of homes. He would love to be with a family who has kids, but he would also love a couple or single person who would give him all of their attention. A home with another dog to play with would be fine since Pip’s favorite thing to do is run around and play with his foster fur-sibling! Experience with Frenchies is not necessary, but the ideal adopter would have experience with puppies and will understand that puppies can: chew, bark, pee and/or poop in the house if distracted with toys or play, explore, knock over trashcans, jump up on people, nibble at your fingers, and engage in other activities you may find distressing. Puppies require vigilance. A house with a fenced yard would be great but is not necessary. Pip doesn’t need an unusual amount of exercise, but he does need a mid-day break if his people work. Pip is puppy pad trained from his previous home and has been perfecting his outside potty and crate training skills while in foster care. Pip loves to ride in the car and we think he’d make a great office companion.
Here are a few words from Pip’s foster mom, “Pip is a happy go lucky guy with a lot of puppy energy. He adores everyone he meets and will smother you with love. He likes to be engaged and playing all the time, just a typical puppy. Pip does great with all dogs, no matter the size. He’s a one of a kind Frenchie who would love to go on walks, hikes and play dates. Couch potato is not in his vocabulary! ”
If it sounds like Pip would be the perfect addition to your active family, then please fill out an application today! In the meantime, Pip will be enjoying life in foster care and patiently waiting for a fitting and fantastic foster home.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
