In Memory of Kayla Mae
It is with heavy heart and profound sadness that we tell you of the passing of our sweet girl Kayla Mae (formally Ada Mae ). Kayla Mae was one of the Texas 12 rescued in 2008. We were so excited when Kayla’s foster mom selected us to be Kayla’s parents and entrusted us with her care. She was 4 months old. We are forever grateful that we were able to give Kayla her forever home. Kayla touched the hearts of everyone with whom she came in contact. Kayla’s favorite things were chasing lizards, belly rubs, car rides and lying in the sun. Kayla passed on March 21, 2021 at 8:02 am, just shy of her 13th birthday knowing that she was so loved and cherished. Our hearts are broken. Kayla will be deeply missed.
