Dear French Bulldog Rescue Network,

Last week our sweet Penny (Grad Panini) passed away. My husband and I adopted Penny in March of 2014 from FBRN at 4 years old and we had 9 life changing
years with her.

My heart is broken but I am so grateful for every moment we had with Penny. Penny gave our little family endless joy every minute of her life and I will forever be thankful for her love and companionship. She was so special and I know everyone thinks their dog is special but she was everything to me. She was funny and goofy but also so sweet and gentle. Penny always knew when I was having a hard day and always made everyone she met feel so loved. Our home feels so empty without her. My 8 year old said “Without Penny our house feels strange”.

Our adoption agreement asked that we notify FBRN when she died but I also thought that it might be nice to share with you all, despite the fact that Penny is gone, her life was so meaningful and our lives have been forever changed because of Penny and also because you trusted us to adopt her all those years ago.

Thank you for Penny and thank you for what you do for all of these amazing Frenchies.
