Are you looking for a giant Frenchie that loves to keep going and going? Then look no further, Zach has made his way onto the available page! This boy was originally tearfully surrendered when his previous family was moving and unable to take him.

The awesome news is that Zach loves kids and does well with other dogs, provided there are slow introductions. Since Zach could knock down a toddler while playing, older children would be best for him to play with. Zach is on the bigger side of Frenchie – he can set off the seat belt alarms when he’s a passenger in the car!

Zach needs a home with a fenced in yard. Apartment life would not suit him well. He’s a bolter and should you open the door he will run! He might not get that far, but he will definitely try to escape! Zach has more energy than the energizer bunny. He would do great with an active family. If you are into serious play time or a nightly long walk, Zach would be a great companion. He’d be able to keep up with your other dogs or older kids; maybe he’d even give them a run for their money in play time!

This hunk is more submissive than dominant and just loves to play. He’s no stranger to becoming your shadow. He doesn’t like to be alone and should you let him, he will happily sit on the couch with you while you binge your favorite shows. Zach is a love bug and will happily give kisses! He also is a gentleman and knows how to take his treats gently. Do you love playing catch with a stuffed animal? Zach doesn’t mind throwing them around. He also has a soft spot for antlers and bones. He will play fetch. One should pay attention when vacuuming, as he loves to chase that and will try to chase water from the garden hose while you water flowers.

Zach is housebroken, but he will mark things that he thinks should be his. As mentioned, he’s too active for apartment life. He’d do great in a house with a fenced in yard. If you work from home or work during the day, Zach doesn’t mind. Perhaps you might pop home at lunch to play for a few minutes with him. If you happen to be looking for your new office mascot, you’re in luck, as Zach could adjust to going into the office with you.

Zach’s foster mom had this to say about him: “Zach is an incredible boy with the best smile. He is non-stop with a lot of energy but quick to give kisses and cuddle (but get right back to what he was doing). He reminds me so much of my Boston terrier that I lost last year, so having a sweet soul like him in the house has been so much fun. If he realizes that everyone is busy, he will go to his bed or a soft place and chew on his antlers or hard bones. He likes to be played with most, but will gladly keep himself entertained. He’s hilarious when vacuums or water hoses are out…just wait and see! 🙂 ”

While this boy is likely too big to fly, you should be ready to take a road trip to pick him up should you be selected as his forever home.
