Please welcome Aspen to the FBRN family! This eight-year-old cream cutie was originally surrendered to a family by a breeder. Unfortunately, the family’s housing situation did not allow for another dog, so they decided to give Aspen a second chance by surrendering her to FBRN.

Four wonderful FBRN volunteers helped move Aspen all the way from Michigan to Washington, D.C. in one day! She did great during her trip and is settling in to her foster home.

Aspen has a lot to learn about being part of a family. Her foster mom has been working closely with a trainer to help her learn how to trust others – both humans and canines. Even in the short period of time she has been with her foster family, she has already made noticeable improvements.

Aspen has allergies that need to be sorted out and a mysterious bump on her chest that will need to be removed.
