This sweet 11-year-old girl was surrendered after a change in family dynamics made it difficult for her previous owners to devote the time necessary for her care. While finding a new place to call home as a senior is not a curveball she was expecting, Blake took it in stride and has aced her time in foster care and is ready to find her forever home.

Blake has never met a human she doesn’t like and is happiest when she’s spending time with her people, whether that’s playing in the yard or snuggling on the couch. She has a special fondness for napping in bed, and you might find her burrowing under the covers for extra coziness. She will play with her deer antler and explore the yard, but is really all about lounging around.

For an 10-year-old, Blake is in great shape and has the spirt of a puppy! She has cataracts, which cause some impairment to her vision and has some hearing loss. Blake is mostly house trained and has learned to use pee pads inside.

Blake is looking for a loving family that will cherish her gentle nature and provide the companionship she thrives on. An ideal home is anywhere her people are. She would do well with almost any setup. She would love to be with someone who is home much of the day, but she has spent time alone in her foster home and it was uneventful. Seeing as she loves everyone, Blake would make a fantastic office dog. Blake is fine with cats and kids, but younger children may want a more a more energetic pup.

Her foster mom wants you to know that, “Blake is one of the sweetest French bulldogs I’ve ever known. She absolutely loves everyone, she is happy to play in the yard with you and total bliss to then nap on the couch. Blake loves to sleep on the bed at night, sometimes digging under the covers. Blake is happy just being around her person.”

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. Blake is very well behaved in the car and did well on her long road trip to her foster home.
