“BoBo is the sweetest and most loving dog you will ever meet! Despite his difficult life, he has welcomed our family with an open heart from the minute we picked him up and every single day ever since. All he wants is to be near us and snuggle up every minute of love you have to give him. It will be really hard to see him go, especially since he is the first dog our resident Frenchie has taken to since her sister passed away. BoBo is special and his forever family will be so lucky to have him. We love him with our whole hearts and always will. All we can hope for is a family that will love him just as much as we do.”

Story
This senior citizen was rescued from a difficult situation by an amazing Frenchie-loving family who nursed him to health, but they were not able to keep him. They asked FBRN to find him the just right forever home and that is exactly what we intend to do. Meet BoBo, a very calm, submissive gentleman who is looking for a restful retirement.
At an estimated 8.5 years young, BoBo is in good health and is low maintenance. He is on regular Cytopoint for allergies and has Apoquel available if needed. He is currently eating a grain-free diet. BoBo snores quite loudly, but that is part of his Frenchie charm.
BoBo is truly happiest when he gets to lay down next to his humans. He does enjoy occasional play time, but calm is his happy place. He likes chew toys like Nylabones and squeaky toys. And of course, he is not one to say no to treats. He is a relaxed fellow, but his one limitation is he is NOT a fan of being gated. He will bark non-stop unless there is someone with him. He is perfectly fine being alone, just not gated. BoBo is potty trained, but is not good at asking to go out, so he would benefit from an adoptive family that can put him on a good potty schedule.
BoBo’s ideal home could be a house or apartment. He doesn’t need a fenced yard, although he enjoys laying outside in the sun on nice days. BoBo is a big boy at 37 pounds, but he gets around very well. More than a few stairs could be a problem however, since he would need to carried and he’s not exactly a lightweight. BoBo would do well with a calm family situation as a slower paced life is his jam. Ideally, he would like someone at home to spend his days with since his favorite activity is hanging with his humans. Alternatively, he would be great in most office settings. He loves to greet people and be told how handsome he is.
Bobo’s foster mom wants you to know that “BoBo is the sweetest and most loving dog you will ever meet! FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. BoBo would love to have you fill out an application and perhaps get to pick him up and take him to his forever home. BoBo would do fine with a longer car ride as long as he gets potty breaks along the way, and he is not confined to a crate.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations and we do not set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
