“Brynlee deserves a home filled with love and safety. She allows you to dress her up in dresses and Halloween outfits; she is a snuggle bug! Her eyes will melt your heart and calm your soul within seconds of meeting her. She is loyal and affectionate! She does not like loud noises. She is happy to be touching her human all day. She will walk into the shower every night if allowed and do 1K zoomies afterward. She is a little skeptical about you checking her ears and wiping her face, but she will allow you to when needed. She insists on belly rubs to help her gassy tummy. She is starting to let us brush her teeth but with much resistance. As she has adjusted to our home, her shedding has slowed down a lot. She is not bothered by the vacuum or doorbell as long as she can see you. She runs to find us if we walk out of the room and the doorbell rings. Seeing us get close to the car sends her into an anxiety fit– she is afraid of being left behind. Her fav snack is fresh blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. Puppy ice cream was overwhelming, so now we scoop out little bites for her, only a little at a time.”

Story
Brynlee is amazingly healthy for a Frenchie. She seems to have minimal, if any, allergies. Foster mom wipes her feet after potty breaks, and she loves the coconut oil paw/pad massages. Brynlee is gassy, but tummy massages are welcomed to resolve that issue. Are you seeing a pattern here? Brynlee wants all the attention. All the time! Being a true Velcro Frenchie, once Brynlee sets her eyes on her foster family in the morning, she doesn’t let them out of her sight until bedtime.
Brynlee’s separation anxiety is at the forefront of much of her behavior. Her foster family leaves her alone in her crate for about 30 minutes and she does fine; otherwise she is in sight of a member of the family, at home or about town. Brynlee has learned to sit on her mat at the end of the kitchen island while her foster family is cooking. She will do the same thing in a restaurant or an office, as long as her person is with her. Brynlee prefers to sit on someone’s lap or feet and stare at her person all day!
Brynlee is a smart girl who knows verbal and hand commands for sit, stay, wait, and leave it. She would love it if her forever family continued to work with her. Brynlee is more than willing to be dressed up for weather or holidays – after all that’s a lot of attention. She walks well on a leash and tends to stay close when encountering others. Brynlee ignores other people and dogs, but has recently started to show some interest in other dogs. Since she hasn’t interacted with them while in foster care, and since we think she deserves to be an only child, we recommend no other dogs in her forever home.
When it comes to food and some toys, Brynlee can be stubborn. While she lets foster mom move her slow feeder bowl, she hangs on tight and is reluctant to let go. Maybe she still isn’t sure that food will always be there! She knows dinner time, however, and will remind you! Brynlee hasn’t really learned to play with toys, except food puzzles, which she loves, and of course, her ball with the treat inside.
Brynlee’s ideal forever home is one where she can be the center of attention, with people who work from home, retired folks, or any situation where someone is home most of the time. A house would be best, although apartment living would work as long as it was quiet. Brynlee can be overwhelmed with noise. While a yard would be nice so Brynlee can do her Zoomies outside, she’s fine on a leash for her walks and doesn’t need a great deal of exercise. Brynlee just wants to be the center of her family’s life!
Here’s a few things that Brynlee’s smitten foster mom wants you to know, “Brynlee deserves a home filled with love and safety. Brynlee would love to have you fill out an application and perhaps get to pick her up and take her to her forever home.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations and we do not set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
