“Carol is a sweet, loving Frenchie who is most happy when she is curled up with someone. She does not seem to have any health issues and has been a wonderful dog to foster. She is so cute when she pounces after a ball and fetches better than some labs. She doesn’t seem to chew on much and is mostly house broken but will pee/poop inside if not kept of a strict potty schedule. Carol also has the cutest underbite!”

Story
Carol is a very sweet girl who enjoys being around her favorite people. For exercise she likes to go for walks and play fetch. Her favorite toys are little squeaky tennis balls. One of her silly Frenchie tricks is that she likes to jump up on top of her crate or chairs to get a better view of the room around her. Always snoopervising!
When it comes to other pets, Carol gets along really well with kitties! She curls up and naps next to the cat in her foster home. She has been introduced to a few dogs and seems to do great as long as there are no toys or food involved. Carol is a resource guarder and for that reason she should be the only dog in her home. If an adopter has experience with resource guarding and the ability to work with her and closely monitor, a home with another dog may be considered, but only if the situation is perfect. Carol adores children and can live in a home with children 7 years of age and up who are able to understand her resource guarding tendencies. Carol could be adopted by first time Frenchie owners as long as they are able to commit to continued training around her resource guarding.
The perfect family for Carol will have someone who is home most of the day. She might be a good dog to bring to the office if the other dogs in the office are submissive and calm. Carol is crate trained and housebroken, but she normally likes to do her potty business outside in the yard instead of on walks. For this reason, her new home would ideally have a securely fenced yard for her potty breaks. Carol tolerates going in her crate, but she really prefers having her freedom inside the home. It would be wonderful if her new family would continue her crate training for short times during the day, but also let her sleep in the bed with them at night. She loves to snuggle next to her favorite person!
Carol’s foster family has this to share about her, “Carol is a sweet, loving Frenchie who is most happy when she is curled up with someone. If you would like to adopt Carol, please submit an application today. When it comes to travel, Carol is too large to fly on a plane, but does really well on car rides so be prepared for a road trip to Pennsylvania.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
