In record time, Miss Damara has made her way to the available page! She is a sweet, young girl who found her way to FBRN via a commercial breeding facility. Damara has done an awesome job adjusting to life in foster care and she cannot wait to meet her forever family!

Damara is a happy gal with the sweetest personality. She loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Like many Frenchies, she is quite the busy body! Damara loves to snoop around, stick her face in and sniff almost anything!

Damara is good with other dogs of her size; however, she has not been socialized with any larger breeds while in foster care. She tends to be more dominant than submissive, and in typical Frenchie diva fashion, she can be a bit bossy. Damara should not live with small pets, like cats or birds, as she has a high prey drive. Also due to that strong prey drive, her forever home should include a securely fenced yard.

Luckily, Damara is in good health! She has allergies and needs to continue to take daily Apoquel, but she’s otherwise the picture of health (for a Frenchie). Damara’s foster mom is still working with her on house manners. Potty training is a bit of a work in progress, but Damara is making great strides and she thrives with positive reinforcement.

Some of Damara’s favorite things include frolicking outside, chasing balls, and chewing on her yak bone! She also loves to cuddle and be with her humans, big or small. But watch-out stuffies! Damara is delighted to destroy any and all furry squeaky toys she can get her tiny paws on.

Foster’s mom says of Damara, “Damara is an absolute dream. She is sweet and gentle and wins over any human who crosses her path. If you plan to take her out for a walk, to the store, vet or anywhere in public she will make friends with everyone and they will all want to take her home. She loves car rides, and sunbathing, the squeakier the toy the better, balls are fun and she loves the occasional Yak bone. Her house manners are a work in progress and she has come so far. We are so proud of her and how well she adjusted to living the good life.”
