Dawn is housebroken and crate trained. She currently sleeps in her crate at night and is happy to greet you when you wake up. Dawn has been left alone while her foster family has gone out and she behaved like a perfect angel. She is not one to tear things up when left alone. In her current foster home, she has someone home most of the day and it’s a setup she enjoys. She could likely get used to going to the office with you. She often barks at a new people, but quickly settles down and will immediately seek attention and pets. She also enjoys and does well on leash walks.

Story
Dawn has made her debut on the available page! Dawn is a beautiful, three-year-old, merle and tan love bug. This sweet girl was surrendered to FBRN when her family had a change in circumstances and they realized they could no longer dedicate the time necessary to care for her.
Dawn thrives being around people. When she is not following her foster parents around, she loves to show off and carry her toys around. She also has a talent for interior design – don’t be surprised if you find your couch pillows have been rearranged to her liking. Dawn will move couch pillows to create the perfect spot for herself on the couch. This is an important skill because she is a play hard, nap hard type of gal. Dawn will have a large burst of energy and after the energy burst, it is definitely time for a nap on her pillow throne. She is VERY affectionate and no one is safe from her kisses.
Dawn would do well in a home that has a fenced yard and where she is the center of attention. She is not fond of other dogs or cats so needs to go to a home where she is the only dog. Dawn prefers to be around older, dog-savvy children.
On the health side, Dawn has allergies, which require her to have regular Cytopoint injections and medicated baths. She has a history of ear infections and should be monitored for reoccurrence.

If you think that your house could use a decorator to fix couch pillows and a constant companion that likes to show off her toys on the catwalk; then look no further than Dawn. All you need to do is apply for her and be ready to pick her up should you be selected as her forever home!
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
