Story
Who is ready for puppy breath, playful antics and endless snuggle sessions? Hopefully everyone because there’s no more time to prepare. Adorable Evie is now available! After being surrendered for tummy troubles, Evie has been given the green light and won’t stop until she finds her special family.
While Evie is still on prescription GI food, she is being transitioned to regular food. Since she does have a history of gastrointestinal issues, her new family should monitor for recurrence. She was also recently spayed, but has been given a clean bill of health. However, being a puppy and a Frenchie by nature, her new family should still be financially prepared for the unexpected (and perhaps the expected, knowing the breed).
Some of Evie’s favorite things include playing with her foster fur sister (a fun-loving Lab), chasing balls around the house with pure puppy enthusiasm and then snuggling up for a well-earned nap once she’s burned off some energy. She’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. And she’s a very smart cookie!
Evie is both potty trained and crate trained, knowing when it’s time to go outside and happily settling into her crate for naps and bedtime. Since she’s still very much a puppy, she requires lots of play time and breaks from her crate so if she does stays home while you go to work, stopping in midday or having a professional puppy smuggler, eh, snuggler come by for a bit would be just fine. As long as she gets regular walks, she doesn’t particularly need a fenced yard.
Having a doggy sibling (or two) in her new home is high on Evie’s wish list but she’s also happy soaking up love from her humans. She’s friendly, social, and ready to charm everyone she meets, including all your coworkers, if you can bring her to work. Since she’s still in her full-on puppy mode (think zoomies, playful jumps, and an occasional stolen sock), a home with kiddos 5 and up would be best so she doesn’t accidentally turn playtime into tackle time.
Puppies usually speak for themselves, but Evie’s foster mom wants you to know, “Evie is basically puppy perfection—the ultimate mix of sweet, lovable, playful, and oh-so-trainable! She will fit right into any crew in most households. She plays hard, naps hard, and snuggles hardest, making her the perfect balance of fun and cuddly. Whoever brings this little lovebug home is in for a lifetime of zoomies, kisses, and the best snuggles ever!“
If you’re ready to add an adorable, bouncy bundle of fun to your family, apply for Evie and make sure you stand out from the crowd. She’s sure to be a popular pup who reaches FBRN’s 20-applicant limit pretty quickly. And prepare your trip to the Keystone State because FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo.
Adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications.

A gift for Evie!!
In memory of my beloved frenchie Lola, who I believed guided me to Evie this week. After her passing on 1/14, I had a dream I would meet a Frenchie named Evie. I then saw the instagram post a few days later and gasped. I knew I had to sponsor her.
Feel better soon Evie!
