“Gaga has been a joy to have as a foster. She is full of life, full of energy and just has a heart of gold. She will be a great addition to somebody’s family. She gets along with every dog and has met many kids and even cats. She has come a long way in her potty training, house manners and all-around obedience. She is learning to sit and goes to her crate. There is so much more that this dog is capable of; you will be very lucky to have her and she will be missed so much at her foster home.”

Story
Are you ready to go absolutely goo goo gaga over FBRN’s resident superstar? Our little Frenchie, Gaga, is making her debut on the available page and is ready for her fans (potential adopters) to start lining up for tickets (applications). Having been surrendered to and then rescued from a local shelter, Gaga has gone gold while in foster care and is ready to go platinum in a new forever home.
With an adorable “sticky-out” tongue, silky dark coat and soulful puppy-dog eyes, Gaga may very well be one of the cutest Frenchies we have seen in a while. And she’s not all about the looks either. She is as sweet as they come and smart as a whip. She thinks chew toys aren’t just for chewing because she has been known to carry them around for a while and then hide them in her crate for safe keeping. She is a certified snoopervisor as she is a very curious pup who explores the world around her. While she is quite young and energetic and loves to go on walks, she doesn’t mind the occasional, or frequent, snuggle with her human.
Gaga isn’t only about human cuddles though. While a triple threat in the entertainment industry usually means having talent in singing, dancing and acting, in the FBRN world, it means the dog gets along with kids, cats and dogs. Would we expect anything less from our debutante? She lives with several canine and feline foster siblings and has met many kids of all ages. And because she comes with a relatively clean bill of health for the Frenchie breed (she may need a corrective airway procedure in the future), some may even consider her a quadruple threat!
While our Gaga may not be classically trained in dance and acting, she does seemingly possess her namesake’s talent in singing. She’s not a big barker per se but shows off her vocal abilities in the form of song. If you have been gone from the house for any considerable length of time (or even an inconsiderable amount), she greets you with a very loud welcome-home serenade. We think her show of appreciation for your return is adorable but nearby neighbors may not be as supportive so a detached home or well-insulated walls are probably the best fit. And a yard is preferred as she has a lot of puppy energy to burn off. Gaga is crate trained and has done well for up to 4 hours alone, but she could probably adapt well to an office environment with some guidance and training.
Gaga’s foster mom has loved taking care of this little gal and wants you to know, “Gaga has been a joy to have as a foster.
If you have what it takes to nurture this young star’s talent and continue with her training, submit an application and tell us why you might be the best match for our lady G. You may have some stiff competition so submit something Grammy, Oscar or Tony worthy and be ready to travel to Maryland. Gaga is most likely small enough to fit under the seat in the cabin of a plane and she has done well in the car. Gaga thanks everyone for their support and love and is ready to write her acceptance speech to her new adoptive family.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
