Cue the madness! Did someone say puppy?! Absolutely! We’re pleased to announce that Jefferson found his way to the available page! This creamy cutie arrived in FBRN care after suffering a severe prolapse. We’re happy to report he received the surgery that was needed and has made a full recovery. The only thing missing now is his perfect forever home!

This little man is a very sweet and affectionate boy that is the definition of a sidekick. He attaches to people quickly and won’t leave your side for a second if he can help it. Jefferson also has a case of BPE (big puppy energy)! He is extremely active and loves to play with toys or other dogs. Jefferson currently enjoys four walks a day but could do more. He needs all that exercise so he doesn’t get destructive like puppies tend to do! Jefferson is smart and learns quickly. In typical Frenchie fashion, he’s already mastered selective hearing!

Jefferson loves any and all toys, but he especially loves all those walks! He likes to stop and smell all the flowers and plants; he is a curious puppy and wants to know what everything is. Jefferson loves kids and other dogs, but like any puppy, he gets excited and tends to pull and lunge. A forever family who is interested in signing up for puppy training classes would be ideal.

The perfect home for Jefferson is one that includes kids and/or other dogs. Children who aren’t super young would be best since Jefferson is in his playful biting stage, where hands and feet are amazing to play with. Jefferson is a trained escape artist and can currently clear 5 feet with his high-jump abilities. Fences should be at least 6 feet high to contain Jefferson!

Jefferson would enjoy a large apartment or a house. He just needs someone who is able to take him out once every couple of hours. Potty training is a work in progress, and if he fails to get an outdoor break every 1-2 hours there could be a mess to clean up! To help with his potty training, someone who is home all day would be ideal for Jefferson.

Jefferson’s foster family had this to say about him: “He’s such a special and sweet boy. He’s the perfect beautiful Frenchie puppy. I’m going to make sure that he goes into the perfect home that he deserves and nothing less.”
