“Jim is such a sweet and loving boy. He is so engaging and seeks companionship. You will instantly fall in love when he gazes into your eyes and see his pearly white teeth. He is a goofy, comical, laid back and most chilled dude but will sound out a funny alert if someone is at the door. He enjoys his evening walks and exploring nature. Sometimes you will find him curled up on a recliner or couch but he loves to be snuggled up with his human instead. If you’re having rough days, Jim is there to smooth those days out. He is the best friend, the pick me up, the good laugh, the forever fur child a person/family needs.”

Story
It is New Year’s and time to go to the JIM! No, that is not a typo – JIM is now on the available page and his New Year’s resolution is to find his forever family! So, if your resolution is to be more active at the JIM, you are in luck!
Jim, now 7 months old, is part of the six-puppy accidental litter all named after characters from Stranger Things. He has been fostered with his littermate Dusty and has stolen the hearts of his foster family. Jim is a silly puppy who loves to play, snuggle and charm those around him. Since Jim is still a young puppy, he has been learning his manners and how to properly live in a home. His Foster mom says he is very smart and learns quickly. He has come a long way with his potty training and will be best served in a home that is as eager to continue his training as he is. As you would imagine, Jim is very athletic and loves to use furniture for his Parkour training. His new family will want to keep an eye out for his silly ventures and make sure he is staying safe. JIM has environmental allergies and needs frequent medicated baths to keep him from being too itchy.
Jim is also aspiring to be a rapper – he loves to spit out some tunes if someone comes to the door or is heard outside. Unfortunately not everyone appreciates his Frenchie rap. Because of this, he would probably do better in a home where the neighbors aren’t able to hear his latest single. Jim would also prefer an environment where someone was at home most of the day, or possibly someone who was in need of an office dog. The perfect place for Jim would be in a home experienced with French bulldogs and invested in completing his training for housebreaking and manners.
Here is what Foster Mom says about him, “Jim is such a sweet and loving boy.
So, If you want to start the New Year out with the Jim, look no further. Fill out an application and get ready to meet your new best friend! Jim will remain available for a minimum of 24 hours even if that means over 20 applications are taken. You’ll need to plan a trip to Louisiana because FBRN will not ship dogs. Jim is small enough to fly in the cabin with you, but he is prone to motion sickness during extended car rides. A discussion with your vet about travel might be in order if you are any distance away.
FYI our policy is – once we receive 20 applications for a Frenchie, we stop collecting applications for that dog, so if you see a great fit for your family in the week’s “Sneak Peek” list, please watch for the next weekly update for her available picture so you don’t miss out! Now, as you can imagine, we get 20 applications for healthy young dogs quite quickly, and that is why, in the interests of fairness to people who work or otherwise can’t submit an application as soon as the available page is visible, every dog stays up a minimum of 24 hours, even if that means taking more than 20 applications for the dog.”
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
