If you are familiar with FBRN bios, you know they usually end with some awesome things fosters have to say about their newly available pup. This time we’re changing things up and starting off by sharing a special poem written by adoptable Katara’s foster mom:

“Katara is ready to find her forever home.
Before you put in your app, there are some things to make known.

Katara is the sweetest girl and to have her is a win
But please keep in mind, she has really itchy skin.
She does require meds and baths and she’s not the biggest fan
But she loves to dry off in the sun and work on her little tan.
She has thyroid issues and has pills to take
But her loyalty to you is something she won’t fake.

She’s housebroken and does her business outside.
She loves it in the car, she really likes to ride.
Sometimes she gets the zoomies and it’s really fun to see.
Back and forth, around the house, it causes so much glee.

Katara is sweet and sassy and a lot of fun.
She’s good on a leash and won’t pull or run.
She’s good with kids, dogs and cats too.

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. Katara is too large to fly, but loves to ride in the car and would make a very cute co-pilot.
