“This adorable little girl is ready to give love to any human who is willing to receive it. She is so sweet and kind. Loves to be near her human, and is very fond of quality time!! She doesn’t mind sharing her human, but she loves one-on-one. Very playful, sweet, and patient. It would be best for her to have a sibling (fur or human) she can play with. She is always so eager to get out of her crate in the morning so she can and play with her human and her Yorkie foster brothers. However, it’s important to note that she needs a slow introduction to any fur sibling(s). She can get a bit overwhelmed and anxious with too much at once, but when she is not rushed into things, she does very well. She came with a cute set of PJs which she loves to wear when it’s chilly. So if you like to dress up your dog, she would be a perfect match…and I want to see pictures. LOL! She also does this cute thing where she spins around on her tush as if she is on a “Sit ‘n spin” toy. It’s so funny to watch. The family who is blessed to adopt her will be rewarded with hours of laughs and years of unconditional love!!!”

Story
Kelly has made the next step of her journey to find her forever home! Kelly came to FBRN when she was surrendered with her mate Zach. However, on their road trip adventure they got irritated with each other and it was best to separate them. Now Kelly wants a home of her very own!
This girl loves her humans. She also loves her chews and bones. In true Frenchie fashion, Kelly can be a cry-baby drama queen when her people leave her alone. She loves to get her pets and rubs. It could be anywhere and it wouldn’t matter. Head, back, or butt, it’s all the same to her!
When it comes other dogs, Kelly tends to be an alpha. She gets along great with her foster siblings after very slow introductions. Now they all get extra exercise by running around and playing every day. When it comes to her bones and chews, Kelly tends to be a resource guarder. She can get snippy if another dog tries to take her food/bone or happens to invade her space. Besides those two things, Kelly does well sharing other spaces, people, and plushy toys with other dogs. If you have other dogs, slow introductions are a must.
Kelly does well with kids who are old enough to understand that she doesn’t want to play all the time – everyone needs a little alone time! She would love nothing more than a family who has someone home all the time so that she’s never alone. She seems to do best when she knows there is a human in the room with her. She also loves to get her exercise and will walk for miles if you let her! She doesn’t mind a walk or two a day to keep her in good health. Kelly would do great in a home where there is someone home to love on her most of the time. It doesn’t have to be her owner; she would be fine with doggy daycare or a dog-walker.
Kelly would do great in any type of home. She is housebroken and will alert you when she needs to go outside. She will either whine or walk to the door when she needs to go, but like anyone, she can only wait so long. She will try her best to hold it after she’s let you know, but she will go on the floor if one keeps her waiting. It is very likely that Kelly could go into the office with her human; she would certainly enjoy visiting everyone in the office and getting belly rubs!
Kelly’s foster mom had this to say about her, “This adorable little girl is ready to give love to any human who is willing to receive it. She is so sweet and kind. If you think you have the perfect space for Kelly, where she can get all the attention her heart desires, all you need to do is apply to adopt her. Simply fill out the application and be ready to pick her up should you be selected. FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
