Hang onto your hats, this pied dreamboat is ready to find his forever family! Kyan is a sweet young boy who was surrendered to FBRN when his family became overwhelmed with his medical expenses. He has had surgeries for cherry eye and cystine bladder stones, not to mention various ear infections and skin conditions that required non-surgical care.

Poor Kyan has certainly had some health issues in the past and has a few ongoing concerns. He has allergies and must take Cytopoint. Kyan also has bladder stones and must be kept on a special diet with no other food or treats. His forever family should know that though Kyan is potty-trained, his bladder stones can cause him to occasionally leak inside the house. During these times, Kyan wears a belly band.

Kyan is your typical Frenchie in that he is VERY stubborn. He knows his basic obedience commands but is selective about what he hears. Kyan loves kids, but should be monitored around young children as he can get very excited and could unintentionally cause injury. He loves playing with other dogs, and gets along great with his foster fur-brother who is roughly his same size. Kyan has also played with larger dogs and enjoyed himself.

Kyan doesn’t let anything get him down! He is a very happy boy who loves to run around in the backyard with his doggie friends or play fetch with his humans. During the day, Kyan is a shadow to his humans and follows them around room to room! His favorite game is to run around the house with a toy being chased by his human. Kyan loves his toys – his favorites being chews like antlers and soft squeaky toys. His forever family should be prepared to play lots of tug and give frequent belly rubs.

The perfect home for Kyan would be one where he can get lots of attention. He would do well in a family home or an adult only home. His family should be prepared to continue with his special diet and allergy medication. A home where someone is around most of the time would be great. A fenced in yard is not required for Kyan if his family can take him on daily walks and playtime. Kyan could certainly be trained to enjoy an office lifestyle, though his cuteness may be a distraction!
